Itinerary
After meeting your guide at the trailhead, we’ll break the ice with our signature “Forest Forensics” nature game, which will have you connecting with other travelers and reading nature’s clues like an expert naturalist.
Learn the fascinating story of how Half Dome was forged millions of years ago and miles beneath the earth. Recount the native legends of these massive granite cliffs. Stories of bravery, persistence, and the heroic tale of one of nature's smallest, and most unlikely creatures.
Step into one of Yosemite’s most iconic meadows, with sweeping views of granite walls and the sound of the waterfall roaring in the background. Learn to read the grass, tracks, and tree line to see why this valley floor is a life support system for wildlife and native people, and a top attraction for today’s visitors. The perfect spot to stop and take those epic Yosemite photos.
The longer you stare at Yosemite Falls, the more you realize something is not quite right with this majestic waterfall. Learn how to read nature's clues, and become a bona fide nature detective, as you unravel the mystery of the tallest waterfall in North America
Walk right up to the base of the tallest waterfall in North America. Feel its powerful roar, and learn a fun optical illusion your group can play with the rushing water.
After hearing tales of forgotten heroes, bold outlaws, and native legends, you will arrive back where you started with a deep connection to Yosemite that will stay with you long after returning home.

Lexi was amazing. Very knowledgeable and knew how to make the pace just right in the heat. Learned a lot about the plants, animals and Yosemite in general. And got to see my first bear with two cubs in the wild! Highly recommend .
Hey Terry, I am so glad you had such a great time with Lexi! And seeing the bear and her cubs is so exciting!! Hope it left you with some great stories to take home :)
It should be more scenic, go to places general people cant go. We could do it ourselves, nothing really impressive
Thanks so much for the kind words about our guide. You're right that the Evolution of Yosemite tour is a relaxed Valley Floor walk built for taking in the scenery and hearing stories of the park. Sounds like a longer, more strenuous hike would have been a better fit, and we're sorry this tour didn't live up to that expectation. We are happy to refund you if this wasn't the experience you were hoping for. Either way, really appreciate the honest feedback. All the best, Zeke
Zeke was great. Wonderful tour. Learned lots of information about the area and environment. Tailored it to our interests
Hey Marsha, Thank you so much and it was so great having you. Hope you had a great rest of your time in Yosemite!
We had an amazing time on our 3 - hour walking tour! The park, of course is beautiful and amazing itself, but Lexi and Zeke made it the complete experience. They were extremely helpful in guiding us into the park and their knowledge and history of the park made the experience wonderful! Thank you for helping to make our time in Yosemite so memorable.
Hey Maribel, It was so great meeting you and I'm glad you had such a great time. Safe travels and hope to see you next time you are in Yosemite!
Lexi was an excellent tour guide! Her tour was engaging and it was very refreshing to learn about Yosemite’s history and wildlife throughout the hike. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Yosemite Valley.
Hey Katelin, So glad to hear you enjoyed your time with Lexi. Hope to see you next time you are in Yosemite!
Zeke was amazing. Knew the area and history, flora and fauna, kept it fun. Shared a few secrets that you’ll have to take his tour to learn. Coming back to Y next year with friends and we’ll definitely book him again.
Hey Dave, Thank you so much for joining me! It was such a pleasure and look forward to seeing you next year! All the best, Zeke
What a fun, knowledgeable and mostly flat hike around Yosemite! Zeke was engaging, story telling and fun activities were offered and made you feel more in tune with the vast surrounding valley. Communication was outstanding leading up to both our tours as well.
Hey Lenore, Thank you so much for the kind words. It was an absolute pleasure :)
Can’t say enough about our experience on this walking tour. Zeke is an incredible guide you exhibits vast knowledge about the park and its plant life. We got to enjoy the most breathtaking visuals the park has to offer while learning so much. We will definitely be back for another tour. This tour is so cool.
Hey John and Sam, It really was so cool. Not as cool as laser beavers... but still cool. Hope the rest of your time in Yosemite was epic! - Zeke
It was a nice, laid back way to explore parts of the valley. Very kid friendly, not rushed. Great way to hear and see highlights that would be easy to miss if we went on our own.
Hey Marjorie, It was such a joy having you and your family. Thanks for making us a part of your Yosemite experience!
Zeke was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made it a great experience. A great "hike" on mostly paved areas in the valley. Great for kids and people that aren't looking for an off the path excursion. Perfect for us.
Hey Spencer, Thank you so much for joining us! It was great having you and your family and hope the rest of your time in Yosemite was amazing
