Highly Recommended!

We have just returned from the Exciting Poland Pearls of Poland tour with a 2-day custom extension. This was a fabulous trip. Grzegorz at Exciting Poland is great to work with. He helped us to plan for our experience, providing useful information and guidance. Whenever we had a question, we received a very prompt response. The tour itself is a comprehensive excursion that took us to the highlights of the region. We really appreciate the fact that the tour groups are small. This makes for a much better experience. Our tour guide/driver, Witek, is the best! He took care of our every need, made excellent suggestions for restaurants and sites to see during our free time, and he is knowledgeable about his home country. We had great conversations and learned so much. During our extension, we were able to connect with our roots, finding the birthplace of our grandparents. This was a profound and emotional experience. We love Poland, its people, its history and its beauty and hope to return again in the future AND we will definitely use Exciting Poland to plan our trip. We recommend them without reservation.

Amazing display of sculptures

To go into the Salt mines you can either walk down a lot of stairs or go down in a lift (there is a fee for this). Once down it is an amazing trial of passageways and artefacts and later sculptures made by some of the miners. This opens out into a huge area with lights and sculptures (one depicting the last supper). There are also smaller private chapels to view by prior arrangements. Return up from the Salt mines in the lift (free to go up). Shops and cafes are there.

Sweet surprise

What a great little town. I was in Berlin and took a FlixBus to Poznañ for 2 days. It was an easy 3 hour ride and affordable. I stayed in the old town square which is quaint with lots of little shops and great restaurants. I visited castles, museums and some fantastic coffee shops. Highly recommend

Great value, flexible, informative audio tour - would deinfitely recommend!

This was a great little tour - perfect, low-cost, flexible and informative. We could run it at our own speed - take a break -recontinue. Excellent! I had a glitch at the start on my download, but it worked fine on the other download and my support query was responded to impressively quickly; all completely resolved within a few minutes. We can refer back to it after our initial walk round too! Would definitely recommend :-)

Can be highly recommended

Super nice walking tour, where you take a walk in the area on Cathedral Island yourself and get information about the area and its history. You can take things completely at your own pace and see things and places you would otherwise not have noticed. We subsequently took his tour in the city center as well - truly a brilliant concept.

Great tour!

Walkative tour was great! Suzanne was so knowledgeable, easy to understand, and able to answer all sorts of questions! The only thing that made this tour a little tricky were the noisy roadworks in the square. But still, well worth it.

Easy to follow tour at your own pace.

Super easy to use app which automatically plays the right guidance based on the GPS location of your phone. The narrator seems to know a lot about the architecture and the history of this place.

Audio guide

I found it good that the app recognized my location and you could stay at the points for as long as you wanted. For me the tour was a bit too short and not enough interesting points. Besides, I would have liked it if you could - optionally - go in depth to learn more.
