The best surf lessons in Kuta

We've been back three times and every time it has been great fun. Gerry and Ari have been great instructors.. They're friendly and you get one on one instruction in the water. I highly recommend this experience.

Even before the session began, the instructors sent me a wave forecast and recommended the best time slot based on my skill level, which I found incredibly helpful and professional. The instructors were friendly, easy-going, and multilingual, making the lesson enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend Bali Surf Class for anyone looking to take beginner surf lessons at Kuta Beach. The location is fantastic—sandy throughout, with no rocks or coral reefs to worry about, making it ideal for beginners. As a thoughtful bonus, they also provided complimentary shower facilities and drinking water after the lesson. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to learn surfing in Bali.

The best money I spent in Bali was with the Bali Surf School. Everyone was super welcoming from the start, including a WhatsApp message before my booking which provided directions to their location. Steve (Sty), my instructor was a star. He provided just enough information on the beach to have me standing up after a few goes in the water. He provided great support and advice throughout the two 45 minutes sessions, and was a genuinely good laugh. I've not surfed before but managed to stand up and surf to the shore about 50% of the time - amazing really. After the lessons had finished I was offered a shower and ended up hanging around for a couple of beers (cheaper than the bars and better company). If this wasn't enough, the guys had also filmed and photographed my exploits and sent them to me via WhatsApp for free!! Fully recommended!! I'll be back!! .

2 hours guided practice.with a mini water break fully provided. I had the pleasure of having Roberto and he was very patient and friendly to help me learn how to surf for the first time! Definitely worth a try.

My nine year old loved her surfing lesson. Her coach was super patient and encouraging with her. They even messaged to changed the time to better suit a beginner child

Such a fun experience! My one on one instructor was great and knew just how to help me get up on waves. The length of time was perfect - quick instructional tutorial and then in the water for about an hour, quick break, and then back in the water. I was pleasantly surprised (especially with as inexpensive as it was) that they took pictures and sent them to me - huge plus as a solo traveler!

Very patient. Good instructors that know what beginners need to get started. Would highly recommend.
