Great tour! Lucy was a wonderful guide. Offered the group choices when possible and fit a lot into our time!
Nice visit. Many things seen and commented. A very big thank you to our guide Lucien!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the eBike tour and got to see and learn so much about San Francisco. A special thank you for mentioning Lucien—we’ll be sure to pass along your appreciation, he’ll be very happy to hear it! We hope to welcome you again for another great ride in the future 🚲
Ben was a pleasure to have as a tour guide. Having gone on a day with bad weather, he adapted to it by finding us cover during the worst of the rain. Likewise, he went out of his way to show us spots that weren’t on the original path after learning we’d already visited some of them. Beautiful Golden Gate Bridge views. The only thing I would caution against is there is a lot of overlap with the Loves VW tour and some parts are information dense.
Thank you for sharing your experience and for your kind words about Ben. We’re delighted to hear that he made your tour enjoyable despite the challenging weather and that he took the extra time to tailor the route based on places you had already seen. That flexibility and guest-focused approach are exactly what we strive for in our guides. We’re also glad you enjoyed the views of the Golden Gate Bridge—those moments are always a highlight of the tour. We appreciate your thoughtful note regarding the overlap with the Loves VW tour and the amount of information shared in certain sections. Feedback like this is very helpful as we continuously refine our tour content and pacing to ensure it remains engaging and well-balanced for all guests. Thank you again for choosing Unlimited Biking, and we hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
Had a great guide, Ben, who took me all over and showed me parts of the city I would never have found on my own. Knowledgeable, concerned with my safety, and very personable. Biking really is the best way to see the city!
Shumit was awesome, his knowledge of the area was top class, an interesting & fun guide. Highly recommend, we had a very enjoyable day. There was a slight hiccup with one e-bike & this was sorted in an instant, maybe the guides should be given small tool kits, this would streamline any emergency 👍
We do an E-Bike tour in nearly every city we visit and this one in San Francisco is near the top of the list for sure. Our guide called himself "Blue Beard" and was very friendly and informative. We rode along the coast line to Fort Point underneath the Golden Gate Bridge then we rode uphill to a viewing point and then onto the bridge itself. This stretched my high anxiety to the limit but the guide was very understanding and in the end I think it was more therapeutic than anything. After this we went through the Precideo which used to be a famous army base and then onward to Golden Gate Park. On the way back there was a fair amount of street riding where I encountered one of those Google driverless taxis which got so close that it honked it's horn at me! This is a brilliant way to see San Francisco and I thoroughly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
My family and I love to take bike tours at the beginning of a trip to new cities because it helps to familiarize us with the landscape and local culture. We’ve been fortunate to bike on at least three continents. However, I was a bit nervous about San Francisco because of the hilly terrain. But no worries with this trip because we used the same e-bikes that we personally own, so it was easy peasy! Check in was super easy and they explained how to operate the bike well. We toured with Ben, who is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and also is so hospitable. From providing great information about the neighborhoods we toured to taking our photos to answering all of our inquisitive questions, he’s a great guide. Overall, this was an amazing tour. And, because we were ebiking we covered a lot of terrain without a tremendous effort. I highly recommend.
I am sold on e-bikes. This is easily the best way to experience the area between and behind Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate bridge with all its gradients and curves. We were also lucky with the weather. Shumi, our guide was a character: funny, knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. And the 6th star: finding a celebrity behind you, smiling "How are you guys?" as he rode away.
The bike tour is excellent! Our tour guide Grant was very knowledgeable and friendly. He made the tour interesting and fun. We covered a lot of ground and had a great experience.
Great way to see different areas of the city! Plenty of stops along the way to take photos too. Highly recommend!
