A very unique heritage experience - must do in Hanoi
Probably the cheapest way of buying your ticket, there are 3 prices depending where you sit. It was clean, the seats were spacious & very comfortable, it was raised seating so everyone can see. There was air conditioning and the show was brilliant as were the puppeteers, narrator/singers and all the musicians. There were a number of steps to climb and I’m not sure if there were any lifts! There was a little museum at the top of the stairs with lots of past puppets in show. I would highly recommend a visit it was lovely.
It is astonishing that it is allowed to film the performance, but even more to notice no few foolish tourists using their smartphones most of the time, what they probably do not do on their own countries, disturbing the experience of others more interested in enjoying an artistic performance not through a 6 inches display. Guys, watch it on YouTube, save your money, and above all, respect others. The spectacle itself is nice, creative and worth
Beautiful representation that deserves a small explanatory rating to accompany the story, in several languages for tourists (almost all spectators). The show itself is entertaining!
