Tetouan Private Cultural tour “Day trip from Tangier”

Description
Explore a town of outstanding universal value with clear Andalusian influence. Tetouanis claim that they are the true heirs of the Andalusian civilization and affectionately call their city "the daughter of Granada. " Architecturally, the Hispanic influence is dominant throughout the city, for Tetouan was first built by Muslim refugees from Spain in the 15th century and then it was enlarged by the Spanish government in the early years of the 20th century. Its Medina is one of the most fascinating and absorbing in the country, a delightful warren of detail.

Achraf did an amazing job coordinating the tour to suit my needs. He was able to adjust the route and personalize the tour on every level for me to Tetouan. Without getting into too many details, I was able to see everything that I wanted and it was an enjoyable experience. I am sure he would do the same for anyone looking for a personal guided tour. From the moment I stepped into Morocco I felt welcome by Achraf, his Uncle Aziz, and our driver Ahmed. Achraf even offered to take me around Tangier free of charge on a Sunday. I am grateful for their hospitality and hope to return soon.
Very nice visit, Achraf is passionate and exciting. A well-paced day in a serene atmosphere. I highly recommend.
A great experience discovering a Morocco that does not appear in travel brochures. Tetouan is a surprising city that retains its multicultural character. Ashraf is a passionate guide who will make your visit as pleasant as possible.
Simply fantastic. Achraf gave us a private tour all across the seaside from Tangier to Tetouan, visiting many small towns, the mountains and the sea. He told us all we wanted to know about Morocco and more... and we'll come back for more for sure!! :-) Thank you Achraf!!!
We had a great time at Tetouan with our private guide Mr Rachid. He picked us up from the airport and drove us to Tetouan, explaining lots of interesting things about Tangier, Morocco, and the surrounding environment. He was kind enough to give us each a small ceramic gift from a roadside shop. Once at the city, he showed us so many small details about the Medina and the surrounding areas, allowing us to sample local food and take pictures of the local businesses. Finally, he drove us back to the airport later that day, allowing us to pick up take out from Tangier along the way. We would highly recommend this tour for a less touristy look at Morocco.
Tetouan , an amazing city and with the guide we carry spectacular very friendly and friendly, thank you Achraf
Nice and pleasant guided tour of Acrah, great professional, very friendly and pleasant treatment, delighted us by showing us the great Medina of Tetouan with its great maze of streets and shops, its great wall and mosques, all fantastic. To finish we could delight in the good Moroccan cuisine.
A splendid day in Chefchaoun with Ashraf It was the first time we visited this city, just like in Tangier, Ashraf introduces us to places we could never have visited alone. We have planned more visits with him for our next trip to Morocco❤️❤️❤️
Achraf picked me up from the train station and drove me to Tetuoan,.always checking for my.confrort. Once there, he first drove around pointing giving me a feel for the city before we parked and started walking. He's very knowledgeable about history and astutely observed my love for architecture and then improvised the tour to make sure to point out different architectural details about various buildings and the historical significance of why certain features of the building were the way they were. At no point do you feel rushed; we even stopped by for a snack; as a food lover myself, he wanted me to try the local specialty: goat cheese. All along the drive and back, he pointed out various things,.showing me both olive and fig trees. If you'd like an informative tour to the degree that you could subsequently show Tetuoan to someone, Achraf is the tour guide you should go with.
