Excellent experience with Danny

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an absolutely fantastic experience visiting the Terracotta Warriors, and our guide exceeded all of our expectations! He is incredibly knowledgeable, and you can clearly tell he has a lot of experience in the field. The tour was fascinating from start to finish, and his excellent English and great sense of humor made the day even more enjoyable. What really stood out was how much he cares about his guests. He stayed with us the entire time, right up until he made sure we were safely in our DiDi heading back. On top of the amazing tour, he gave us wonderful recommendations for other attractions and even helped us find great deals and cheaper prices for things. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

One of the best sites we have ever seen and the museum itself is incredible

Went here after we arrived at the hotel in Xian. We waited in reception and the rep came and found us. We were driven there in a luxury car and our guide got the tickets and everything for us as we entered. During the journey the guide gave us a detailed history of the area including how the warriors were found. The site is about 60 miles outside of the city and after parking your car at the entrance you climb aboard small trailers to take you to the entrance where you have your tickets checked. You will need your passport too unless you have a copy of this on your mobile phone for checking purposes. The guide gave us small ear mic's so we could hear her speaking as we entered the place. It was packed and we had to wait to get a front row view to the warriors. They are amazing. At the front, in the left corner, is the area where the warriors were originally found from the digging of the soil to find the water. At the back of the area is a place they call the hospital where pieces of pottery are put together when they can find the rest of the items. There are are also horses in the pits. The size of the area is quite large and you walk in at the main entrance and often walk along the right towards the rear entrance. Our guide gave us a detailed chronology of events and after leaving the pit we moved out towards the museum. The objects in there are fascinating. There is a warrior with the signature of its maker on it, there is a detailed shoe pattern of a warrior. There are jugglers and musicians etc and the museum on its own is fascinating. My wife wondered if we might have another visit on our own without a guide, but this was a once in a lifetime visit and the museum is exceptional. One of the best places we have ever visited during our travels After leaving the museum we were taken to a small bookshop in case we wanted to purchase a book from the man who found them, he is still alive and making living from his find. Great man. We decided not to get anything there and then we were taken to a small restaurant for lunch. This was lovely too and so cheap. After this we left the area and our guide took us to a show about the history of the Silk Road and I have reviewed that separately. Following this we were returned to our hotel and once returned we paid the bill through Wiipay. Can't remember how much we paid for the Warriors, the transport the Silk Road and the lunch but whatever we paid it was worth it. This was one of the best days we ever had on holiday and we are so glad that we did it. If you get the opportunity to visit this place you must. It is one of the best museum artefacts we have ever seen and is not to be missed by anyone in the area.

Happy experience and great staff and tour guide.

Booking process is easy and smooth. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Communication was great. Plus, the english tour guide we had in china was fantastic! Our tour was on 9th April. He was very knowledgeable and have had many years experience. At the end of the tour he also showed us a restaurant with good variety of authentic Xi'an food, and we had lunch there. We had great experience. Thanks to Viator staff and our tour guide giving us a happy visit in Xi'an.
