This full day trip was very good. Our guide Allen was extremely knowledgeable regarding the entire historical site. We started at the end opposite ofthe pyramid of the sun. So we explored the lower part first then walked the main road to see the ruins of apartments and discuss the historical features of that time. Pyramid of the moon we were unable to climb, but the pyramid of the sun we were ableto go to the first platform. We then explored the palace. Lunch followed this amazing tour and I would recommend not ordering the “ box lunch” as this is a buffet at a separate restaurant. The rest of the group stayed and ate at a different à la carte restaurant. The food was good at the buffet and we only had to pay for the drinks. After lunch behind the restaurant, there is a market area in which we had a short tutorial on and tasting of the tequilas. Also, there a presentation regarding the use of material the use for weaving. After which the shop was available for us to purchase various items. A warning here that the bus won’t leave until everybody has finished shopping. This held us up a bit, and we therefore reached traffic we got back into Mexico City. We had to walk back to our hotel several blocks on our own since a couple of the main streets blocked off for some reason. The traffic is really bad in the city at peak hours. This couldn’t be helped and it was not that big of a deal for us to walk. The final note the time of year we went this month was just perfect as it was not super hot. There was a nice breeze so climbing up and down the steps was very doable. The entire tour was a lot of walking, and we were delighted when our guy told us that van would pick us up at the other end of the park. This worked out very well. Overall, it was an excellent tour, although it was a very long day and I would highly recommend doing this tour if you are able to.
Alex was great! We went to the frida khalo museum xochimilco and unam and amigo tours was great the whole day! Great tour!
Do not purchase the Entrance ticket with Amigo Tour: you pay it more than 3 times and it is absolutely unnecessary since there are different entrances to the archaeological site. They also bombard you with emails to trick you into using them for other “experiences”. Absolutely negative
this isn't a review of the pyramids, which are fantastic. This is to say I was basically scammed by Trip Advisor who sold me tickets to "skip the line for tickets." First of all, there was no line, but more surprising - the ticket office at the pyramids had never seen anything like the tickets Trip Advisor had sold me and said they were basically useless.
Dear bachrachleslie, Thank you for your comment. Please note that all instructions for accessing the sites are included in the confirmation email sent one day before the experience. Following these instructions carefully is essential to ensure smooth entry and avoid any issues during your visit. We hope you will consider giving us another opportunity in the future and change your mind. Kind regards from Quality Department of Amigo Tours -Alma
When we tried to enter the pyramids the officers did not let us in because they wanted a different ticket? They didn’t accept the tickets I downloaded from trip advisor, the tickets to scan on my apple wallet, nor the email with the confirmation stating we paid. They wasted our time and we had 10min to head to pyramids and back. Disappointing. What a scam buying them ahead of time on here. They were $100 PESOS in the entrance and we paid $15 DOLLARS online.

The views and pyramids were amazing! We took lots and lots if photos! The town was so beautiful! The pyramid ruins made us feel connected with the rich, deep culture.
Our guide Gerson was excellent. He has a lot of knowledge and the explanations were excellent. Gustavo at the wonderful wheel.
