Explore the Teotihuacan Pyramids on an Early Access Small Group Tour from Mexico City. Depart early in the morning to beat the crowds and explore one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the world in a more relaxed atmosphere. Arriving early allows you to enjoy more comfortable temperatures, fewer visitors, and better opportunities for photos while discovering the ancient city. With a certified expert guide, walk along the iconic Avenue of the Dead, visit the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon, and explore the most important temples and ceremonial complexes of this fascinating Mesoamerican civilization. Unlike many other tours, this experience is designed to focus entirely on the archaeological site and its history, without commercial stops or tourist traps, allowing you to fully appreciate the greatness of the legendary City of the Gods.

Itinerary
For approximately 40 minutes, we will visit the different meeting points in the city to pick up travelers. Once the group is complete, we will begin the journey to the archaeological site of Teotihuacan. The drive from Mexico City to Teotihuacan takes approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic.
We will arrive early to avoid crowds. We will enjoy a guided tour of the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the Avenue of the Dead, with explanations about their history and significance, with no tourist traps. There will be time for photos. Duration: Approximately 3 hours.
At the end of the experience, we will begin the direct return to Mexico City, dropping you off at the same meeting point where you were picked up. Travel time: Approximately 1 hour, depending on traffic.

Thanks to the World Cup, and unbeknownst to us (and apparently our Uber driver) Ave de la Reforma was closed!!! When we saw traffic was not moving, we contacted our guide, and got out of the Uber to walk. But we still missed the bus. But the tour guide left someone to meet us, and bus us to the last meeting point. We are very thankful for that!! Our tour guide Ilse was very knowledgeable, and very attentive to everyone’s needs. She was especially kind to stand by and offer a hand, if needed, as my husband and I walked up and down the uneven steps.

Great half-day trip to Teotihuacán. The tour focuses on the Temple of the Sun, Temple of the Moon, and the Temple of the Serpent God. The tour splits into English and Spanish groups. Both guides Rubén and Yair, were friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience both informative and enjoyable.

Honestly, very good experience. I was lookong for an efficient visit, coczring the main sites with good culture and history and also not too long. It was all of this. Amazing insights from Jair and Ruben our guides, they explained everything and doscovered so many things, thank you guys !

Jair and Rubén are very kind, knowledgeable, and explain in detail. Sometimes you have to walk very quickly, so if you are with older adults, it can be a bit demanding. Other than that, 10/10.
