Pushkar lake is surrounded by 52 Ghat ( River banks ) .Each ghat represents communities,Royal families and Kings of Rajasthan.Take a complete walk around 52 Ghats and visit some of the hidden temples at the edge of Pushkar Lake.
Gau Ghat is also known as Gandhi Ghat .The Ashes of Mahatama Gandhi was spread here in the sacred pond .
It is one of the important Ghat in lake .Brahma Ghat is famous for Maha Arti . Shri Jayendra Saraswati got constructed famous temple of Shankaracharya on the entrance of the Ghat.
Varaha Ghat was named on Lord Vishnu boar carnation.In 1150 AD it was reconstructed by King Anaji Chauhan.A Palace of Queen Auhuliya Bai holkar is situated here.
Varaha temple is one of the ancient of Pushkar dedicated to Lord Vishnu.The temple is considered as one of the eight Swayambhu Kshetra of Vishnu Varaha temple was built in the 12 century by King Anaji Chouhan who was the grandfather of King Prithviraj Chauhan and later it was destroyed by Mughal ruler Aurangzeb.It was again reconstructed in the 18th century by Raja Sawai Mann Singh 2. The temple has an elegant structure and is heavily decorated with valuable ornaments,stones.
One of the most ancient famous religious temple of Pushkar located Near Varaha Ghat in the middle of the town.The old Rangji temple is 200 year old temple dedicated to lord Vishnu.The temple was commissioned to be built in the year 1823 by a rich merchant Seth Puran Mal Ganeriwal of Hyderabad. The temple houses the idols of Lord Rangji, idols of Lord Krishna, Goddammahi, Goddess Lakshmi and Shri Ramanujacharya,Venu Gopal and Narsingh.The temple is famous for its breathtaking South Indian architecture with its high rising Gopuram

Koteshwar Mahadev Temple is very famous for its beautiful architecture and history .It is also considered as VIP Ghat because of VIP visit whole around year
It’s a very rare & unique temple .Anyone cannot see anywhere in India .In this temple you can witness 108 Shivalingam ( temples ) altogether.
This is the only temple in the whole universe dedicated to Lord Brahma.The temple structure dates to the 14 century partly renovated later.The whole temple is made of black and white marble stones.The pillared gate lead to two small temples of Gatekeepers Lord Indra and Lord Kuber on the right and left side .Silver turtle sits on the floor facing Sanctorum (Garbhgriha) compacting with the idol of Lord Brahma. The idol of Brahma is fitted with four faces with Goddess Gayatri.This Brahma idol was defied in garbhagriha in 718 AD by Adi Shankara.The temple is governed by Sanayasi (Monks).

This Ghat was constructed by King of Amer Raja Mann Singh 1 in early 16 century.Later it was renovated by Jai Singh in 18 century. This Ghat is also known as Sunset Point,Raj Ghat.

Manish was a wonderful guide. He always makes sure you're comfortable and happy and he explains everything in a clear and easy to understand manner. He teached us about the religious and spiritual side of Pushkar, about customs and religious rituals. He was really attentive with us, even we had a bit of a cold, me and my husband, he made sure we are comfortable and emulated the pace of the trip after us. Manish is the best guide you can have in Pushkar. He is very professional and explains many interesting things about Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The tour was excellent through the temples and streets of Pushkar, taking us into the culture of India and Pushkar. The tour ends with a visit to the Brahma temple and then with a ritual (if the person wants) in the sacred lake, something I 100% recommend. Simply excellent.
