I had to get back from Uber because the driver didn't pick us up when we asked, and the car was extremely dirty
Although it is still a zoo, the animals are super cared for, everything is very clean. All the workers are always very attentive, the bathrooms and facilities are super clean, except for a few things because people are forgetful and leave their dirt in the place. Quite expensive food.
Beautiful place with a very large green area. There aren't many animals, but the aquarium part is very beautiful with many marine varieties.
In the collages that I have prepared, you can see the sectors of the Temaiken biopark, with photos from yesteryear and current photos. The negative changes they have made are clearly visible, in addition to and fundamentally the very few animal specimens on display!
Greyline tours should be avoided. Car tiny, cramped and shared with tourists going to different location, driver denied having any English. Other pair Spanish and they chatted with driver for full hour on politics, places to visit and got lots of recommendations. Once they were dropped off driver put on radio. No English speaking guide at all. Temaiken itself was lovely, staff so friendly and in cafe there happy to help based on my limited Spanish and husbands none. Yes, please visit the parc it is wonderful. No, do not use this operator, they are not providing the service promised and will not answer messages. I paid the trip advisor premium price for this to get the English speaking guide. What I got was a budget shared Uber with a cracked windshield and dumped at the turnstile of the parc
It was very good! Not to be desired from any other Biopark I have visited. Great place to walk and meet the animals in their natural habitat. Super quiet to go by taxi. We had no problem with the taxis in Argentina.
First off, the biopark is beautiful and worth visiting especially if you have kids. The tour guide was excellent and had a lot of information to share. I was the only one in the group going to the biopark (the others were on a different excursion). He escorted me to the gate to ensure my entrance was problem-free. The reason for the low rating is twofold. Firstly, the day is much too long. Even with/for kids, while there are different experiences for them, families were leaving after 3-4 hours. I was ready after 2 hours. Secondly, and primary reason for the low rating is, Viator charges nearly 6 times the amount of the entrance fee! The entry fee was about $15, and the amount charged by Viator for the excursion. It is very difficult to imagine nearly all of that amount going to the travel company. If that is the case, Viator really needs to rethink who they do business with. Temaiken Biopark is a worthwhile visit. Check on their website for the entry fee compared to the ridiculous amount charged by Viator. If it is anything more than 2 times the amount, find another way to get.
The tour to the Park was enriching, with many varieties of animals from various parts of the world, the time inside the Park is enough to visit all the spaces available, but the Service of search and return to the indicated place, left much to be desired, first the van did not look for us and did not leave us in the combined place, which forced us to a long walk to our stay, the tour would have everything to be perfect, if it was not for this deficiency by the transfer.
If you're thinking about seeing animals this is not the place you should go. It is a well-kept and enormously sized ecological park, but unattractive. It is also very poorly located, that is, it is located on the periphery of the city. The cost of entry was higher for foreigners. The zoo is divided into several zones: land animals, the bird, insect and snake zone, aquarium, cafeteria and gift shops. I recommend visiting the meerkats and flamingos. Be sure to take your own transport, as the bus passing through the gate takes forever.
In my opinion it is a beautiful park, obviously the only one in our country, really beautiful .But it has 2 things that to my liking I never go again, the first is the lack of animals hopefully you find one or at most 2 of each species and missing most of the most common wildlife ,I do not understand the sense of having an animal park because you can put all the name you want and all the explanations to the name you give it but it is simply an animal park , without animals and in 2 places the prices to our family are not cheap to spend the morning in the park charge you dearly.
