Itinerary
We will visit Independence Hall on Rothschild Boulevard where Ben Gurion proclaimed the State of Israel in 1948. We will see a memorial to the soldiers who died in the War of Independence
We will have a food tasting at the Carmel Market where you can find many amazing foods including one of the best falafels in Israel!
Come and explore the trendy and old area do Neve Tzedek. We will explore a whole bunch of shops and art studios, jewelry stores and have a 15 minutes break at Anita Ice cream which is considered the best ice cream place in Israel.
We will end our tour at the Etzel House Musuem, and talk about the founding of Tel-Aviv and the struggle of the Jewish population to form a state. For those who want to continue to Jaffa I charge $50 per person, it is another hour and I highly recommend it. Jaffa is rich in over 4,500 years of history, which is older than Jerusalem!

It was a very intresting day tour a perfect blend of old and new with alot of knowledge we started at the charming Neve Tzedek neigborhood'from there we walked to the colorful Carmel Market and ended exploring Old Jaffa
A great tour.. Interrsting places and Jon brings a lot of local knowledge and fun/ Highly recommend this tour
I booked with Viator in advance and prepaid, they confirmed my booking. I showed up at the meeting spot at the appropriate time and showed my Viator ticket to the guide, but she said I wasn't on her list so couldn't go on the tour. Viator is "investigating," but it looks like I will have to initiate a dispute with my credit card company to get a refund. I wouldn't recommend booking any tour with Viator.
I never got an email for this booking so I didn't know that this client booked the tour. I also never received any money for the booking so how can I issue a refund if I never got paid to begin with??
Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the city and country, as well as friendly and with a great sense of humor. A very interesting tour.Totally recommend Jonathan.
