Afternoon delight

Great decor and feel for an afternoon tea. Celebrated a birthday with a large group. Loved the experience. The commentator needed to be louder as we did not hear. But overall really nice time.

Very unprofessional!

This business cancelled two hours before via text message. They did not contact me with refund information and I was unable to reach them. This was supposed to be a birthday gift and instead, as of now, I am out $180!

Horrible Company To Work With

Our date was for Monday, June 22; however, we received an email on 6/19 canceling due to circumstances beyond your control. Since it was canceled, other plans were made. On June 20, we received a confirmation email for Monday's Tea (which was previously canceled). I've called and written to both Tea Around Town and TripAdvisor, but received no response. Then I get an email telling me I can't reschedule or get a refund. This was an error on your part, and I no longer want to deal with your company. All I want is my refund.

Don’t WAIST YOUR TIME

Tea Around Town Dallas completely ruined what was supposed to be a special girls’ experience for us on May 17, 2026 at the 1:30 PM event. We literally flew in because we saw this experience all over TikTok and were genuinely excited to make memories together. We booked this over a month in advance, planned outfits, wore heels in Texas heat, coordinated schedules, spent money on travel, food, transportation, and dedicated our entire afternoon around this event — only for it to never happen. We arrived early at 1:15 PM because it was our first time and we wanted to make sure everything went smoothly. We noticed other confused guests standing around waiting for the bus as well, but we tried to stay positive. Then at 1:21 PM — just minutes before the event was supposed to begin — we received a text saying the event was “pushed back” with absolutely no explanation. At that point, we were already irritated but still hopeful, so we walked to a nearby restaurant to wait it out while trying not to let the disappointment ruin the day. We spent that time talking about how excited we still were despite the frustration because we truly wanted this experience to work out. Then at 2:04 PM, right as we were leaving the restaurant to head back, we received another message saying the event was cancelled due to an “unexpected operational issue.” That was it. No real apology. No accountability. No urgency. Just a cancellation after customers had already shown up, waited in the heat, spent money, and wasted hours of their day. What hurts most is that this company markets itself as a luxury experience centered around creating memories and special moments. But for us, the memory became standing outside confused and disappointed after traveling for something that clearly was not organized properly behind the scenes. Leadership seriously needs to understand this was bigger than a cancelled tea ride. People plan birthdays, girls’ trips, celebrations, and travel around these events. Time is something customers can never get back. A refund alone doesn’t fix the inconvenience, embarrassment, frustration, and wasted effort. This experience honestly left such a bad impression that I would caution others before booking, especially if they are traveling or making this part of a special occasion. Customers deserve better communication, better planning, and honestly some type of compensation or gesture when a company wastes people’s time like this.

Do not book Tea Around Town!

We waited in the heat two and a half hours as they kept sending text messages that they were just running late until they finally canceled. Never again! Hopefully they will go out of business. It is a wonderful business idea, it just needs to be run by a quality business with integrity.

Don’t waste your time!

Extremely disappointing experience with Tea Around Dallas. We booked this for our anniversary and ended up standing outside in 80+ degree weather for over 1.5 hours with little to no communication or updates from staff. We kept trying to get answers and were given vague responses while our entire evening slipped away. After all that waiting, they ultimately cancelled the bus altogether. Our anniversary plans were completely ruined because of the lack of communication, organization, and consideration for customers’ time. What should have been a special evening turned into a frustrating and stressful experience. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are planning an important event or celebration.

We waited out in the heat had a reservation at 5:30 was told every half hour it would be there soon then they canceled!

my daughter made a reservation for Mother’s Day for the two of us. We were supposed to leave about 530 every half hour when we receive a message. The bus would be arriving 30 minutes later finally around 645. They canceled the whole thing so basically we came down there for Nothing and then had to pay $15 for parking stand out in the heat. This definitely is a rip off review. I wish we would’ve.

Completely horrible

Delayed, delayed, then seated us on the “wrong bus,” so made us get back off, then they cancelled our tour after we waited another 30 mins. So waited 2 extra hours and never got to do it. Standing in pouring rain while waiting. The bus was dirty. Smelled like urine when we entered it. Thick dusk. The food on the table looked questionable so maybe we dodged a bullet. The workers literally acted so confused about their job and how this whole thing operated. Very disappointing experience. Not worth taking a chance on this. From experiencing just the few mins we were on the actual bus i would have never gone in he first place. Just go to the Adolphus Hotel’s French Room for High Tea - night and day experience.
