Itinerary
We begin our journey with a visit to the Chronicles of Georgia, located just 25 minutes from the city center. This monumental stone complex is often called the “Georgian Stonehenge” or the “Georgian History Memorial.” Designed by renowned artist Zurab Tsereteli and completed in 1985 during the Soviet era, the monument features 16 towering columns, each soaring up to 35 meters. The upper sections showcase Georgia’s most famous kings, queens, and national heroes, while the lower panels bring to life scenes from the country’s 3,000-year history. From the site, visitors are treated to a stunning panoramic view of Tbilisi Sea, making it the perfect starting point for your exploration of Georgia’s rich history.
Our next stop is Sameba Cathedral, also known as the Holy Trinity Cathedral, often regarded as a symbol of modern Georgia. Rising majestically on St. Elia Hill, the cathedral reaches 101 meters, making it the tallest church in Georgia. Its grand scale and breathtaking beauty are truly impressive, and its golden dome can be seen from almost anywhere in Tbilisi.
Next, we will continue our journey through the ancient part of Tbilisi, where you will discover some of the city’s most iconic sights: • Tbilisi Sulphur Baths • Bridge of Love • Leghvtakhevi Waterfall • Meidan Bazaar Tunnel • Monument of King Vakhtang Gorgasali • Old Tbilisi Cable Car • Mother of Georgia • Bridge of Peace • Tbilisi Clock Tower • Anchiskhati Basilica (the oldest church in Tbilisi) • Shardeni Street

George was exceptionally good. Very informative and entertaining throughout the tour. Apart from the cable car joke! Was a perfect way to see the old town and to see the chronicles which is a unique experience. Would recommend to use him 100%
We had a great tour with George. He is very knowledgeable and we had a good time. We learned a lot about Tiblisi and Georgia.
This tour covered sites and areas I had not visited so far. It was a great tour provided by Gogi! It culminated with an early evening trip up the Tbilisi Funicular. The city lights were better than expected!
Amazing tour. Relaxed, very informative, great experience. Good locations, good timings. A day well spend. Great job by Mr George.
We had a wonderful city tour with Gogi. We was able to accommodate our requests to alter the tour to meet our interests. One thing we noticed in Tbilisi old town, is that there's always someone coming up to you trying to sell you a taxi ride/ boat ride/ guided tour etc etc. Gogi did a good job of keeping them away from us, which we appreciated very much.
