The instructor was very good, knew a lot about history. The driver very careful. However, the route was terrible, Cuernavaca 3 churches close together and that's it, no more than 1 hour. We did not know its streets, nor its most important churches. Terrible Taxco. They take places of interest to them, supposedly mine (horrible) silver, extremely expensive, they invent a discount that in the end is still expensive. Then for lunch, the church (interesting explanation from the instructor) from the beginning they tell us that we have two hours, then one for lunch and we left and they took us to another silver shop of interest to them (none wanted to go) they left us only one hour to know. I really don't recommend it

Hi the tour was not what we expected The guide just took us to cuernavaca to one street of the city , no explanations where given In Taxco they just immediately took us to a shop instead of taking us to sight seen in the city Again they did not have any info or knowledge regarding the place At the time of lunch they forgot to include us in the list of those who paid for it so we had to contact them after we were forced to pay , so that they could reimburse us. They did But simply it is not what they advertised. Look for another option !!!

This tour is advertised as a “Cuernavaca and Taxco” tour but was really a Taxco tour plus a 45 minute stopover in Cuernavaca. I booked because I wanted to see murals and the palace/fort in Cuernavaca, but the palace was closed. We saw only the church. I suggested going to a nearby waterfall (Cascada de Anton) but the guide said we did not have enough time. Luckily, Taxco was a much better experience. We had lots of time to explore Taxco and the restaurant chosen by the tour had a spectacular view. My tour guide, Ursula, was great. (December 2020)

The tour guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable we liked her very much. The driver was like most drivers in Mexico , he drove a bit too fast and too close to the other cars we had a few near misses on the drive too and from our location. The stop in Cuernavaca was too quick. The tour guide explained that a local silver baron built a huge house directly in front of the cathedral that we visited and that the house was now a museum. It was a very interesting bit of history that was important to the two cities we were visiting but yet we had no time to visit. I’d argue that the house would of been a better stop than the cathedral. On the drive to Tacxo our driver was shook down for money at a closed toll station. The driver was told to give money or we would not be allowed to pass all this was done in eyesight of a police officer! Unbelievable, we were told that this was normal. While in Tacxo we were led into a restaurant for lunch. I had not paid for lunch so I assumed I would be able to go to a restaurant of my choice, I was wrong. At the restaurant we were given a menu with only two meal choices. I didn’t think much of eat until the table next to me received the regular menu with numerous choices. The meal was horrible! Literally the worst meal I’ve had in Mexico and I’ve lived here for three months!!

Regarding your meal, our drivers only suggest our local cuisine but if you don´t have the lunch included, you are free to go to any restaurant of your choice. We spent an owful time in pickup times and waiting’s. Arriving eventually at Taxco at 2pm (including 20mn no more in Cuernavaca). People just seemed not to know who was going and where and when. The lunch was shameful The two stars are for Taxco only. A beautiful city that we saw too quickly
Dear Pabc54 ... I'm really sorry that you had a bad experience. Sometimes when the tours are shared the delays of other passengers affect everyone. In the tours, we try to do the best planning so you can enjoy, but sometimes the traffic or the long distances to Taxco do not favor us.
They took us to Cuernavaca on an approximate 1 hour trip, we visited their Churches, then we headed to Taxco which is a beautiful place for its landscape, a wonderful view with hot weather, friendly people and many jewelry stores that provide you on arrival your glass of Tequila. It's time to smug ourselves for a while and shop to smug the women in the family.

Very bad experience we left behind schedule and had to skip Cuernavac because guide said that all the places that are go-to places to see were closed for renovations? the drive was chaotic at best, there were times we all thought we were going to crash, very fast in and out of traffic just a horrible experience all around, Taxco was a delight but the trip over is something I hope nobody expiereces.

Taxco is just an amazing little town full of jewelry, history and kind people. We really enjoyed our tour there, the ride was excellent, the guide was always pending on whatever you might need… highly recommended!

One day is a short time, taxco deserves one or two days is amazing!! Cuernavaca is also very beautiful and you need at least a whole day to enjoy
