Comprehensive tour of Gran Canaria's food culture

This tour was an interesting way to learn about various food highlights of Gran Canaria. Although there was some decent drive time between locations, it was a great way to see the island and the guide offered relevant commentary to Gran Canaria's agricultural capacities as well as pointing out local attractions. With tastings at each location it was possible to get a full understanding of the products that are produced here.

Gran Canaria North in rapid transit

Interesting program Gran Canaria North. Isabel and the bus driver make a good team. The full program means that there is little time per visit.

Quite a surprise! super experience!

This is not the first time I was on the island, I am a big fan of the Canaries. I had planned a beach scoop and hotel rest. Seeing this tour, I decided because it is something like very different... and it was a total hit! The perfect stops, everything super interesting, no stuffing, the great guide. She spent the time flying, very entertaining! I was very surprised!

An excursion to remember

Departure from the hotels: The pick-up was punctual and well coordinated, allowing the day to begin smoothly. Banana Museum (La Rekompensa): An interesting and educational visit. The museum provides a clear view on the importance of banana cultivation on the island. The setting is very nice and the staff was friendly. Arehucas Distillery: One of the most outstanding stops. The guided tour was very informative and the rum tasting was an excellent addition. Ideal for lovers of local products. Free time in Arucas: Very well managed. One hour was enough to explore the historic center and enjoy a lunch at ease. The city has a lot of charm. Finca Berrazales (winery and coffee): A perfect close to the day. The natural environment is beautiful and the explanation about wine and coffee production was very interesting. The tasting was a highly valued plus. Return to the hotels: It was done on time and comfortably, closing the day with a sense of general satisfaction.

From the first moment you enter incredible landscapes, with stops full of flavor, history and tradition. We have tried unique local products, such as mojos, rum, award-winning wines and even coffee grown on the island, all accompanied by super interesting explanations and lots of affection from the hosts. The atmosphere is relaxed, well organized and with that special charm that only the local has. Between farms, plantations and villages with soul, the day flies by.
