Fun Tour with a Knowledgeable Host

Matt was a great host and I loved touring Hill Country wineries and visiting charming downtown Fredericksburg! I appreciated the communication regarding my reservation and pick up. Matt is also very knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of interesting information with us. I would definitely book another experience with Cottonwood and would highly recommend them.

Cottonwood Wine Tours provided a wonderful experience.

Fantastic tour. We couldn’t have been happier with Cottonwood Wine Tours. Our guide, Matt, was so knowledgeable that at one tasting location the staff was actually asking him questions concerning wine production. Can’t recommend this tour enough,

Highly recommend this excursion!

Our tour guide, Brandy with Cottonwood Tours, was extremely sweet and very knowledgeable about the area we visited. We loved Fredericksburg!! Such a cute town with great shops and restaurants. Wish we could have had more time in this town. We had two wine tastings at beautiful venues and also stopped at Luckenbach. Brandy showed us the many vineyards in the area and was a great tour guide!

Great Day Out! Matt is a Star!

Brilliant day! Matt was a great guide and was full of interesting information. Matt offered us to do the trip whichever way we wanted was really nice of him. We choose to do tastings before the stop in town for lunch, we saw both a more family run winery and a co-operative run one which gave a great perspective from either side of the industry. Our stop in town was great, we loved it and had plenty of time for lunch and a good walk round. Would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone, wine buffet or just know what you like....it doesn't matter it will suit everyone

Excellent tour! So much fun!

Every part of the experience was excellent from start to finish. The best part is you don't have to worry about who in the group is your designated driver. Matt and Brandy were extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. The destinations chosen were excellent! Who knew there was so much wine culture just outside of San Antonio! If you're a wine enthusiast or just want to have a very enjoyable afternoon visiting vineyards in the Texas Hill Country, this tour is a must. Everyone in our group had a great time. Well worth it! Tip: I always book directly with the operators on their website to help support them. www.cottonwoodwinetours.com

You will love this tour!

Matt is terrific in every way. He communicated well before the start, asked for votes on changing the itinerary to have lunch after the first wine tasting instead of after the 2nd (we did), and selected the second winery based on more group members’ preferring white wines over reds. His tour about winemaking was top-notch (I’ve worked in the industry) without being too long. He described parts of the San Antonio’s/the hill country’s history, found a safe place to stop for a photo op with blooming Texas bluebonnets, and played a Texas-related sound track. Really relaxing, thoroughly enjoyable, delicious wines.
