Taormina boat tour

Great trip with Salvatore who told us quite a bit, was always friendly and also gave us some family swimming time without involving himself. He always had a smile.

Last minute switch by tour company led to horrible disappointment. I was informed an hour before we were supposed to meet at the boat that the tour operator had a health situation and we would be using somebody else. When we got there, instead of the romantic boat with the cushions you can lounge on, we were given a hard wooden boat and the only soft thing we could sit on or three 18 in.² pillows, one of which smelled like someone had urinated on it. Our boat captain now spoke no English and instead of getting the romantic Prosecco with fresh fruit as advertised, we were offered the Prosecco, but with cold fried food. Seriously, ice cold onion rings and small pizza slices. While the other boats around us were going into the caves and we could hear them talking and describing what they were seeing, our captain merely would say a word like Lagoon. Or he would point to the shoreline and mention the name of the city. That was the extent of our being informed. Now I realize that things happen in life and you have to go with the flow (I cannot blame our substitute, who I’m sure is a very decent man) but this is really disappointing and when I reached out to the person, I have been communicating with and expressed my frustration, I was basically blown off and said “oh I thought you would like our local delicacies more than fruit that has to be imported.”

We had a wonderful day on the boat. Salvatore is a really smart guy, experienced and friendly. Precision is not lacking and neither is seriousness in the work. It was a great experience renting the boat with Salvatore, we toured between Giardini Naxos, Taormina and Isola Bella. I highly recommend renting with Salvatore.

Beautiful experience, the guys present very polite and welcoming, they offered us food and drink quite good we saw the dolphins it almost seemed that you could touch them, we saw the beautiful island Mazzarò and the 5 star hotels really really wonderful experience really unique advice you have next tourists looking for a unique experience in wonderful Sicily

A very special experience with a mix of fun relaxation and nature to be redone advice very everything perfect.....

The tour we decided to do with the skipper Salvatore was really impeccable. We relaxed and also had fun. Salvatore explained to us all the peculiarities of the coast. We toasted and enjoyed good fresh fruit. I recommend a tour like this to anyone!

It was breathtaking. Unforgettable 2 hours. Including prosecco, watermelon and a pretty captain. What more could you want. Beautiful view.

The boat puttered slowly around a small strip of coast slowly for 2 hours, and the 2 guides said almost nothing to us and talked to each other in Italian the whole time. We were promised a snorkel experience but they had only 2 masks/snorkels for 5 of us. The activity included fresh fruit and Prosecco but we were not given either.
