In the neighborhood of San Telmo is the most classic tango house of all time, El Viejo Almacén. It has offered shows since 1969 and preserves the architecture and atmosphere of the tango culture. The house has a unique magic in which the cultural barrier between different nationalities ceases to exist and everyone is united by one of the greatest expressions of any culture: the language of music. It has a Dinner & Show proposal, with a menu of international cuisine a la carte and an extensive wine cellar with the best national wines. Then, any audience is delighted with an excellent sample of tango made up of prestigious dancers, the famous Quintet of El Viejo Almacén and two renowned national singers who play some of the traditional songs in the history of tango. We are looking for you! Pickup from hotels varies between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. We will depart back at approximately 11:40 p.m.

This classic tango show offers an intimate, romantic, and nostalgic journey back in time. The live music was performed beautifully, and the dancers were exceptional, creating an engaging atmosphere that drew the entire audience into the performance. We chose the dinner option, and the food was excellent. The staff were attentive throughout the evening, taking great care of us from dinner onward. They even escorted guests to the theater across the street and continued serving drinks during the show. The service was warm and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience an authentic classic tango show in Buenos Aires and immerse themselves in the local culture.

Very enjoyable tango show with great dancers and music in a lovely, traditional setting. Pick up was on time and easy. Only complaint is finding the transport back to hotel was a bit confusing and unclear.

This was so much fun! Top talent in dancers, singers and performers. We would highly recommend.. my partner/wife and I both felt like it was packed full of amazing positive energy and excellent performances. If you want to learn about the tango influences in Argentina, see how incredible it can be and have fun while being taken great care of, this is the don't-miss-it experience! We had the vip package that included dinner and seating arrangements for the show, along with transportation to and from the show. It was excellent!

We had a great time we were picked up on time We had a great 3 course meal with wine then opposite we went to the tango show we had the option which gave us a great table right the front which was worth it we had 2 glasses of wine included The show was great in a small place so had a fantastic atmosphere the dancers were fabulous The company we booked with were great they contacted us on WhatsApp before and after checking everything was ok Would recommend

The performance was exceptional: very talented performers! The dinner was good (not exceptional, but perfectly fine). The transportation to the venue was AWFUL: we were unexpectedly stuck on a shuttle from 7:16pm (our pick up time, 2nd of what ended up being 6 stops that evening [actually 8 stops because we stopped at the last hotel 3 times because they couldn't find the guests!!]), arriving at dinner at 8:52pm. For reference, dinner had begun at 8pm, so we were inhaling our meals. I'd suggest other travelers arrange for their own transportation if it's more than 3 hotel stops to the venue (in sum: AVOID THE SHUTTLE).

Tango show is superb - authentic proffessional entertaining and very evocative and great fun. Super seats (VIP) and drink service. Food was very poor / disappointing and not at all enjoyable. Frustrated / disappointed by the pick up / drop off service - long laborious drive around hotels in a minibus not my idea of fun.
Hello Alison. Thank you for your review. However, after checking with the tango house, they did not receive any complaints from you. You had booked the VIP option, which includes several food options, including meat, chicken, fish, pasta, and vegetables. And the food is really more than abundant. Regarding the transfer, it is always the same. It visits a maximum of five hotels and, due to company policy, does not wait more than five minutes per hotel.
The tango show was incredible—full of passion, precision, and energy. The dancers moved with perfect timing and the live music enhanced the mood beautifully. It was an unforgettable performance. We were picked up from our hotel promptly and the dinner was lovely! Exceptional service from start to finish.

They picked us up from the hotel in a bus. Once you arrive at the restaurant we had a table and bottle of wine waiting! The menu items and food were great. I cannot express in words how awesome the show was. It is something that I would do again! Highly recommended

This is a very authentic show. The historical venue is wonderful. The dancers and singers are dedicated to entertaining the crowd. I am very happy we went here.
