Would have given a 4 had the head waiter not come to our table of 10 during the show with several folders for tips! Tips
The evening was wonderful, the show was the highlight and was spectacular. We were picked up promptly from our hotel and arrived at the venue within half an hour despite several stops at more hotels. Our table was close to the stage and had a good view. The tables are arranged so that everyone can see. The menu included a choice of three courses, a bottle of wine for two and water. The food was acceptable, but not great. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and would highly recommend the show. The dancers, singers and musicians were talented and entertaining. The itinerary was varied and displayed the culture and diversity of Argentina. We would highly recommend this experience.
I wouldn’t trust Viator, for any future tours. The tour provide never showed. Because Viator said the pickup point was outside the tour provides acceptable locations. Only problem was that Viator never total me this so they didn’t show. Viator refuses to refund the cost of the tour because the pickup location issue which they never told me and even through Viator approved the pickup location!
Buenos Aires offers a plethora of options for tango shows. Visiting an authentic venue in the historic district, within a cozy rustic building adorned with vintage wall decor, creates an intimate atmosphere. Imagine filling that room with hundreds of people, choosing a three-course dinner from an amazing full menu, and savoring it with precision. You’d have a wonderful night, and we did! Then, there was the tango show. This was no ordinary tango show. It was professionally choreographed, featuring a blend of traditional tango, live music, and extraordinary performances. It wasn’t acrobatic like some others I’ve heard about; instead, it was passionate and charming. I highly recommend it. It was the highlight of our day in Buenos Aires. To top it off, they provided pickup and return to our hotel, making it an incredible value. Don’t miss out! Schedule it now before it’s sold out.
The tango show itself was very good and quite intimate, which made the experience feel more authentic and engaging. The dancers were talented, and the atmosphere during the performance was enjoyable and worth seeing. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the service and dinner. The service felt rushed and somewhat aggressive, as if everything needed to be done as quickly as possible, which took away from the enjoyment of the evening. The food was regular at best and did not match the expectations for a dinner show of this type. In short, the show alone is worth it, but the poor service and disappointing food were a real letdown and significantly affected the overall experience.
This was an awful experience. We asked for menus 3-4 times and they kept saying to wait. No menus came for over 2 hours. Don’t go. The dancing was mediocre at best. Very lame. No heart or passion.
Great service and the dinner show was outstanding! The app communicated well and gave clear instructions.
We booked through Viator for Tango show and dinner and had a great evening. We had a lovely meal (both had steak, which was good) and we really enjoyed the show; the mixture of Tango and Folk Dance was really good. The service was attentive, beer and wine good and not overcrowded. Having read reviews of lots of shows before we booked, we were not disappointed. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely brilliant, great atmosphere, super Malbec, amazing Steaks and fabulous Dancing and Gouch demonstrations.
This Tango show with dinner at Aljibe was amazing. When we arrived the place was packed, they started to seat us at the very back of the place then the manager said, I have a better table for you and guided us to the very front of the stage, it was such a great experience being front and up close! The meal was great. Highly recommend this tour.
