No show from the guide

The guide didn’t show up for this and the tourist office said he hadn’t shown up any tours that week. Despite these Viator still allowed us to book it on the morning. The no show meant we missed out on other tours we could have done. There was a poor and unapologetic response from Viator and no explanation as to why they were still selling this trip.

Operator response

What tour and on which date you were booked onto? All our tours have been operating continuously from the start of July (in June there was an emergency situation for a couple of weeks) so, please let me know which tour and on which date you were booked onto?

Guide never showed up. DO NOT BOOK

The tour guide never showed up. The guide did not show up at the agreed upon time and location for this tour. I attempted to message and call the guide multiple times with no answer. The guide never messaged me before or after the tour to convey an apology or a reason. DO NOT BOOK

Tripadvisor - Viator and Tour Operator - confusion!!!

Guide never showed up and didn't call. We contacted Viator whose name was on the ticket and they tried to contact the tour guide but was unsuccessful. Viator said they would request a refund. Now Tripadvisor wants us to provide a review on a tour that never happened. Does Viator and Tripadvisor work together?

Lost afternoon on a short trip

Guide was a no show, especially damaging because we were in Estonia for one day, specifically for this tour.

Interesting Food Tour but Not Outstanding

Tallinn 3-Hour Estonian Food Tour was fairly good. I got a chance to try different types of Estonian food and also visited some interesting places in the city. The guide was knowledgeable and tried to keep everyone in the group comfortable.

No-show, no communication, no alternative

Guide no-showed 3 different time blocks, company didn’t answer phone or messages, didn’t offer a confirmed time they’d actually be there. Don’t waste your time or money.
