Delhi To Agra Pick-up from your Accommodation in Delhi, Gurgaon or Noida in the early morning by private, air-conditioned vehicle to begin your journey to Agra. Along the way, chat to your private driver and gaze out over India’s passing landscapes and villages. After roughly three hours, arrive in bustling Agra, the home of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Taj Mahal. Get tantalizing glimpses of this incredible 17th-century building as you approach Then, on arrival, meet your local guide. Taj Mahal Stop first at the Taj Mahal and hear about the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal for his beloved wife.
Agra fort Next, visit the massive Agra Fort, which combines Hindu and Central Asian architectural styles. Your guide shows you the maze of courtyards, private chambers, and mosques that lie within the fort's walls and convey the story of the Mughal Empire.

After Lunch continue to the Itmad-ud-Daulah Tomb, a Mughal mausoleum. Itimad-ud-Daulah was the title given to Mirza Ghiyath Beg, father of Nur Jahan. He held the post of Lord of Treasure of the Empire and later rose to the dignity of Wazir under Jahangir. Nur Jahan completed the construction of the building of the Tomb of her father in 1628 AD, nearly 7 years after his death. In the evening, depart from Agra to Delhi as per your flight Schedule and your driver will transfer you to Delhi Airport or Hotel.

we went on the day trip from Delhi and the driver was awesome. He picked us up from the hotel and although not great at English, he made us feel welcome and safe and seemed like a pleasant chap. I think his name was Riyaz. Our guide was Azam or Asam and if you are looking to also hear the story of Agra families that live in poverty and hear a lot of very personal details of poverty, including photographs, and also be asked personal info, so being in a very friendly guide/tourist relationship, then this is the perfect guide for you. He was also very, very, very keen on taking us to shops, so if that’s what you’re looking for, you will enjoy his company. The lunch was ok, but be prepared to ask for drinks and cutlery as no one came around. The tour company was super communicative and understanding, when we gave feedback, and I would recommend them, but maybe stipulate what sort of guide you would like before taking the tour.

Driver Vijay picked me up from Delhi at 6am and we arrived in Agra at 9am with a short break en route for coffee. We met the guide Nazim and he gave me a tour of the Taj Mahal (beware: the security is ridiculous) leading up to about 11am. We then went to a marble inlay shop for about 30 minutes before proceeding to Agra Fort. At 1:30pm lunch was provided at an air-conditioned restaurant in Agra (included in the ticket price, excluding drinks) and then by 2:30pm we were back on the road driving to Fatehpur Sikri. We arrived at 3:30pm and a second guide took me around the palace and mosque. We were done by 4:45pm and Vijay drove me back to Delhi. Thus the tour finished at 9pm. Both guides were friendly and knowledgeable, giving me plenty of time to take my photos. Vijay's driving was heroic!
