Truly horrible experience.

DO NOT BOOK! Absolutely horrible experience, if I could give it zero stars I would. To start off, we were charged 2x as much as other trip participants who booked off of the app. They paid about $25 per participant and we paid $50. Even though we paid double, the tour guide told us that we had to pay extra to do an excursion that everyone else had included in their cheaper admission. Super disorganized, tour guide, who was rude to be frank, didn’t know where we booked, who we spoke to for booking, or if we even paid. The tour guides on the trip were arguing in front of group members about which tourists were in their group. The description on the app did not make it clear what we would actually be doing. We were brought to the shore of Taganga and told to sit at the beach for about 5 hours. Tour guide did not explain the history of where we were going or the customs or culture of the people. He disappeared for most of our trip. You have to pay for everything on the beach, including chairs and all water sports. Guides try to convince you to order extra food at an extra price when taking lunch orders. It is clear that the guides are money hungry as I myself heard a conversation between two tour guides about how they were able to convince so many members of their groups to order additional food. Our guide tried to guilt us into ordering extra fish when we asked for chicken, and told us that we didn’t come all this way for chicken. Boat back was extremely unsafe, we almost flipped on multiple occasions and the life jackets were ill fitting for most of the people on board. It was truly a horrible experience, super disorganized and honestly felt like a scam. I would not recommend this tour to anyone.
