We're going to have a great time exploring Queretaro's downtown, a much-beloved neighborhood rich with history and culinary delights, on this three-hour walking and eating adventure! During this six-stop tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore some of the best casual food between Jardín Guerrero and Plaza Armas. You'll sample a variety of (vegetarian-friendly) authentic tacos, tamales, gorditas, and more, and enjoy tequila "the authentic way" with a true cantina experience! You'll meet our beloved vendors and discover for yourselves why we adore them and you'll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn about the ingredients and history of each dish. Be prepared to eat, eat, EAT walking away feeling like you've had a REALLY hearty meal. We can't wait to show you all we love about this neighborhood!

Enjoy some sweet treats as you learn about the historical significance of this plaza and the person it's named after.
Here you will learn about the history of the Mexican "kiosko" and the design elements that make Jardin Zenea so beloved.
This stop will focus on the architectural elements found in the plaza and its historical significance.
Here we will pause to enjoy our "gorditas" and you will learn about the early days of this plaza, the importance of the neighboring buildings, as well as what lies beneath Plaza Constitución.

David was a terrific guide. Prompt. Shared lots of interesting history about the city, the architecture, and the foods. He focused on the blend of cultures in architecture and foods. The tour was well-paced and we were stuffed!

This was an amazing tour and my tour guide, Itzel, was one of the best I've ever had. I have taken MANY food tours and this was one of the best. Itzel was informative about the history, the culture and the architecture. HIGHLY recommend this tour.

We had a great 'foodie' tour with Edgar! We decided to do a day trip by bus from San Miguel de Allende. We enjoyed being with Edgar and learning some of the history of Queretaro as we walked from restaurant to restaurant...enjoying some great local food as we went. We tried various foods that I probably wouldn't have tried if we hadn't been on the tour. A fun way to spend an afternoon! We recommend it!!

I had a fantastic tour with Itzel! All the food was delicious, and felt like a unique local establishments. I was soooo full! Itzel is also very knowledgeable about the history and people of Querétaro, and México overall. A fellow world traveler, she has an inquisitive and friendly personality. Her English is excellent, no issues at all understanding or hearing. I learned so much, ate yummy foods, and practiced my Spanish a bit. Definitely recommend. Thanks Itzel! :-)

It was the tacos and tequila experience. We absolutely loved it. Itzel was an amazing tour guide! She was very knowledgeable about the city and gave us good recommendations. We speak a little Spanish and we’re delighted she was able to relay all the information in English! She was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. At the end of the trip she offered to pickup our dessert so I could take a short break. Itzel was warm and friendly we would love to do a tour with her again! Ohhh and the food was delicious too!

Itzel is superb at her job. She is a great listener and makes changes as needed depending on the client’s needs. Her English is superb which made this beginner Spanish language fellow relax. Her explanation of Queretaro history was enthusiastically received and there no questions unanswered! She provided a personal touch as we explored the many sites. I strongly believe she is a real asset for those considering travel or relocation to Queretaro. Buen trabajo y muchas gracias.
