Your day begins at 7:30 am with an early visit to Ta Prohm before the crowds. Continue to Angkor Thom through the Victory Gate, exploring the Elephant Terrace with its intricate carvings, the Terrace of the Leper King, the Royal Palace enclosure, and the 10th-century Phimeanakas. Exit from the south to see Baphuon, a grand pyramid-style temple. Before lunch, discover Bayon, famous for its hundreds of serene smiling faces and rich depictions of Khmer history. After a break and lunch in Angkor Park, the journey continues to Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious monument, built in the 12th century as a Hindu temple for Vishnu before becoming a Buddhist shrine. Walk across the rainbow bridge, admire its vast scale, and enjoy insights and photo stops with your guide. In the afternoon, visit Tonle Sap Lake, Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake, where floating villages and local fishermen reveal authentic Cambodian life.
