A must see when in Budapest

Definitely worth a visit. A special village with varied history. And close to Budapest. Lots to see and do and everyone was super friendly. Orthentic food and goods. A fabulous artist working on one street. Highly recommend!

Not worth the money

The total cost was roughly $100 USD. However, they took us by public transportation (subway) to Szentendre. The guide was great and she was knowledgeable, and very helpful. But for $100 USD, I feel the minimum should have been private transportation; else I do not see how two subway tickets plus the guide equals that amount.

Operator response

Dear Luis, The tour happened exactly as advertised. We take a train (not a subway) to the location, as stated in the tour description. We are happy to hear that you found the guide great and knowledgeable, because that is exactly why people hire a private tour guide. With this concept, we are the #1 rated provider at this location. We are sorry to hear that you did not feel the tour was worth the price, but we take pride in our work preserving and sharing Hungarian cultural and historical heritage. We believe our pricing is in line with international market trends and the interest in this type of activity. Thank you for joining us and for sharing your feedback.

What a wonderful experience

I loved this tour, our guide Maisha was very knowledgeable and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. We took a train to the artists village which I loved as I felt I was seeing and experiencing much more of Budapest. It was a lovely little village with something for all age groups. After taking us around the village, Maisha took us to a little place where we had a slice of Langos and then we had an hour to do what we wanted. This tour was well worth the money.

You should forewarn of 2...

You should forewarn of 2 hour walking tour of cobblestone streets. I would not have booked had I known

Operator response

Hello! The description mentions walking arround cobblestone streets. As we are visiting a location, which is pedestrian only, walking cannot be avoided. The walk is easy and relaxed paced, possible to be completed by anyone at any age. If someone doesn't want to see everything, it is not mandatory, of course.

A very worthwhile experience.

Our guide Maisha was a perfect fit. She made our trip to the charming village of Szentendra so enjoyable due to her professional & friendly personality. We loved the train ride there as Maisha explained historic info about the train & sites along the way. Maisha was also a great help as we shopped = helping with money conversions, taking us into interesting shops & explaining the historic significance of the town throughout many centuries. The only suggestion I would make is to provide your clients with 2 hours of free time as 1 hour was not enough time to enjoy & revisit shops without rushing.
