Margit Kovacs was a 20th century Hungarian artist who developed a unique and very recognizable primitivist style in ceramics and sculpture. Her work can be seen in multiple museums in Hungary . The Szentendre museum actually offers some of the best of her work and certainly desrves a visit with a guided tour. Sculptures, reliefs and symbolic works are brought together in a tasteful manner.

We really enjoyed the tour. Szusan was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information on the historical significance of each place we went. The wine tasting was interesting and we enjoyed the lunch and shopping. The restaurant easily accommodated our vegetarian family member, which was appreciated. All in all, I’d definitely recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful time on the Szentendre and Visegrád Private Danube Bend Tour with Wine Tasting. The scenery along the Danube was beautiful, and both towns were charming and full of history. The wine tasting was a lovely addition and very enjoyable. Everything was well organized, relaxed, and perfectly paced. A special thank you to Nora, our guide - she was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even better with her explanations and warm personality. Highly recommended if you want a private, comfortable, and memorable day trip from Budapest. Day trip
It was nice to get to see the lovely town of Szentendre, the umbrella street was particularly lovely and learning the history of the castle. We learnt a lot on the drives around but sometimes it was a bit overwhelming and it needed a few more breaks to digest the information
Steve was a terrific guide. We highly recommend him and this tour. Enjoyed the castle and the beautiful view of the Danube. Lunch and wine tasting were very enjoyable.
Nice. More info about driver and vehicle ahead of trip would be good, be more like uber for security purposes. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.
The team was easy to work with, very accommodating and professional. Once we worked out the details for our private tour for 8, Martha was awesome and we all had a great time. Highly recommended
Wonderful tour! Susan is extremely knowledgeable and speaks excellent English! Visegrad castle is amazing, be advised there are several dozen stairs. Fascinating medieval history. We sampled 4 wines (red, white, rose, sweet) and heard about the various Hungarian wine regions. To be clear, this is not a vineyard/winery tour; there are no vineyards close to Budapest. The lunch was excellent, and because I’d contacted them beforehand they easily accommodated one guest’s not eating any red meat. The village of Szentendre is quaint but mostly touristy, but the Margit Kovács Ceramic Museum was wonderful, we could have spent far more time there. I highly recommend this tour and Susan in particular.
The tour was perfectly planed. Each stop was both stunning and interesting in the Danube bend. Our guide, Nora customized our tour based on what we wanted to see. We really saw and learned a lot about the Hungarian history and about the Hungarian wine . It was a prefect balance between local history, tour of the cellar and great wine tasting.
Nora was a fabulous guide. Gorgeous fall day with great views at the castle. Sventendre was a lovely town. Wine tasting and lunch were great.
I love Nora! She gave us the relevant info. Let us stay on tract but did not rush us in szentendre. The danube bend view was amazing
