Join us on this Group tour to witness & get close to Florida's abundant marine wildlife. Expect to see many of Florida's natural wildlife from Bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, manta rays, starfish, sand dollars, puffer fish, and many more. Our tours also go along many of Florida's state wildlife refuge that allow or passengers and up close look at many different species of birds and other native animals. Group Sizes: Each of our boats can accommodate up to 6 guests, per Coast Guard regulations. With two vessels available, we can host groups of up to 12 people. For larger groups, you’ll be split between both boats—but don’t worry, they always stay within talking distance of each other, ensuring everyone enjoys the same experience, including snorkeling at Shell Island and dolphin encounters together. Please note: some groups are subject to being split due to legal regulations. If split, the groups will never leave each other for the entirety of the trip.

Under normal conditions, our tours typically follow this flow: Unless you request something different, we’ll start with a scenic 15-minute ride out to the Gulf of Mexico, where the emerald-green waters are perfect for spotting dolphins. This area is known for its clear water and abundance of bait, making it ideal for dolphin encounters. From there, we’ll head to the stunning Shell Island, where you can snorkel in crystal-clear waters and search for unique shells. Dive into an underwater world filled with vibrant fish, sea turtles, and other fascinating marine life!

Great experience. Condo was very clean and true Ocean Front. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beach trip and swimming with the dolphins at Shell Island was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our summer vacation.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing time on the dolphin swim and snorkeling tour with Salty Fins! This was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Panama City Beach. Our guide, Hunter, was absolutely fantastic. You could tell he really knows the area and the dolphins' habits. Instead of just hoping we'd see dolphins from a distance, he took us to a spot where he knew they were likely to be. We ended up swimming incredibly close to them—it was such an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience! Hunter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe while making sure we had the best experience possible. The snorkeling was also a lot of fun, and the entire trip was well organized from start to finish. If you're thinking about booking a dolphin tour, don't hesitate—choose Salty Fins, and if you get Hunter as your guide, you're in for an incredible adventure. We would absolutely do this tour again!
Swimming with the dolphins is not guaranteed, but they will do their best to make it happen, and it was so much fun.
Our captain Matthew was great. He made sure myself and my kids had a great time. We got to see dolphins multiple times and get out and swim near them as well. Snorkeling was also fun- clear waters! Would definitely recommend
John gave us a time we will never forget. Full of laughter, lots of sand dollars, and memories that will last us a lifetime! It was a small group of us- 5 and the driver so it felt very personal. We went at 3:30 which was perfect because the water for scuba was amazing height. Water was warm but cloudy but we still found plenty- even a sea urchin. Well worth the money we paid for it ! First of all, if you're in the wrong spot you will get a very handy phone call from the nice ladies at the ticket booth and they'll direct you where you need to go. Secondly, you're greeted by your Captain. Our Captain happened to be Thomas. He was very energetic, easy going, and friendly as could be! He got us super close to dolphins, where we jumped in and had the closest experience you can get! This is a must do if you're considering something new and fun!

Captain was friendly and nice. He doce in and git all of us a sand dollar while we were snorking. Seen dolphins from boat. Missed seeing dolphins under water after jumping in the water. I was under the impression we were going to shell island to collect shells. We didn't just snorkeled. Overall my 17 year old daughter had fum snorking.

We loved Captain John! It was chill and we were the only ones on the boat with him. He did his best to get us as close to the dolphins as possible while keeping our safety in mind. Would definitely recommend this experience to someone wanting to see dolphins.
