On the way to Skjervøy, we pass the mighty Lyngen Alps
We arrive in the Skjervøy area, where whales gather to feed on herring. Here, we search the wide surrounding waters for humpback whales and/or orcas.
We spend about 1–2 hours observing the whales in the vicinity of this area, depending on how quickly we locate them and how long they remain nearby. Whale sightings cannot be guaranteed, but our captains and guides will do their very best to find them.
On the return journey to Tromsø, we sail past the Arctic Cathedral, situated at the end of the Tromsø Bridge.
