Shirley Heights is a restored military lookout and gun battery. The Lookout is a high point (about 490 ft.) that affords a superb view of English and Falmouth Harbours, the best view in Antigua. In this fantastic place every Thursday and Sunday at sunset you will have the opportunity to attend 2 typical Caribbean concerts: the first of calypso music and the second of mixed songs interpreted in a reggae key. At the Shirley Heights bar you can taste the best cocktails in all of Antigua, including the Rum Punch. The photo you can take at sunset will be an indelible memory of your holiday and this day.

You can decide how long stay at the party between 4:00 pm to 8:15 pm. You will have the opportunity to discover the most beautiful sunset in the entire Caribbean: the sunset seen from Shirley Heights. You can have an drink or BBQ during 2 typical Caribbean music concerts: calypso and reggae.

IMPORTANT: from Royalton CHIC and Sandals, the meeting will be ONLY by the main gate on the main road, NOT POSSIBLE by the reception/lobby. The meeting time can change, if it happens, you will receive an email through Viator/TripAdvisor. RESORT: The guide will wait for you directly at the reception of your resort or you will receive an email specifying the most accessible place possible. If you don't receive any communication from us, the appointment will be at the reception of your resort at the time on your reservation. CRUISE SHIP PASSENGER: the meeting point is in front of the shop EXOTIC ANTIGUA, one minutes walking time from the gate of the cruise ship pier.

Great experience and beautiful views. Our driver, Keanu was absolutely the best. He was very informative and talked to us about culture and various landmarks.

The drive can be long depending on which resort you stay at of course. So, sit back, relax and take in the scenery. The views are beautiful so be prepared to take lots of pictures. We also liked the music we went on a Thursday night.

It was a great experience. Had a very good driver showing us around and exploring paining a lot about the history Ann’s the island - really enjoyed the ride as well as the time on the sunset party - though that is very touristic - but worth it any way! Tipp: you really have to grap food right on arrival if you want to eat - later the line really queues up.

Very east prompt pick up with plenty of time to spare. Great friendly driver who shared knowledge of all the landmarks and history of all that we passed through. We arrived on time and enjoyed Shirley Heights and all it had to offer. Easy pick up and quick trip home. We had a great time and for the price, the private transfer tour was well worth it.

Arrived at Shirley Heights in good time to see the sun set. The view was beautiful. We really enjoyed the steel drum band and the reggae group. There were local people selling their handicrafts and we made a purchase. This was an enjoyable trip.
