The tour begins along the coast of Coccorino, where you can admire the stunning Grotta dell’Aspide, also known as Polyphemus’ Cave in Homer’s tales. We will then continue to the enchanting inlet called Vasca del Luppinaio, once used by local farmers to soften lupins in jute sacks immersed in water. This spot is also known as Venus’ Pool, as legend says the goddess loved to spend her afternoons bathing here. The navigation continues to the natural Coccorino harbor, an ancient refuge for local fishermen, before sailing along the iconic and picturesque bays of Capo Vaticano, renowned for their colors and the wild beauty of the Coast of the Gods.
The tour will pass along Grotticelle, with its crystal-clear waters, and you will be able to admire the imposing Scoglio del Palombaro, also featured on the label of Amaro del Capo. A symbol of the coast and a spectacular panoramic viewpoint.
Swimming Stop at Praia i Focu – 30 minutes A break at one of the most charming and unspoiled beaches of Capo Vaticano, accessible only by sea. A small paradise surrounded by high cliffs, turquoise waters, and fine sand. Here you can enjoy a refreshing swim in complete tranquility and admire the colors of the sea, which at sunset take on golden and pink hues, creating a magical and unforgettable atmosphere.

What can I say, simply stunning....
It was a beautiful excursion, the guys who accompanied us, Vincenzo and Luis, were kind and sweet. We had a beautiful swim at one of the most beautiful beaches in Italy, and we saw some beautiful caves, and we had an aperitif at sunset, in front of Stromboli. Everything was beautiful! Thank you, Gennaro and Aunt Mary.

Admiring the coast from the sea is a beautiful experience, but the tour at sunset is suggestive: clear water, rocks overlooking the sea, coves accessible only by boats, spectacular sunset. The skipper Vincenzo was very good: he illustrated the landscape and spoke passionately about his Calabria. How to blame him... it's a wonderful land!

We left in 8 people. Vincenzo, the skipper, took us to see several beauties of the coast towards Coccorino. Later he took us to "Praia i Focu for a bath. August 2024. Our trip was almost cancelled due to not having the required minimum number of people, we were asked if we would mind rescheduling which were not able to do as we were at the end of our holiday. The team were absolutely amazing and offered to go ahead with just my partner and me. Over the moon! The trip was beautiful, the host onboard was very attentive and knowledgeable, pointing out Sicily, Stromboli and other volcanoes. The sunset was breathtakingly beautiful. We performed the sunset tour. Also fantastic is the stop at the Praia de Focu. Suitable for all those who want to see a sunset making you an aperitif.
