Golden Hour Kayaking Introduction and brief orientation at Virgin Islands Ecotours’ Marina Board a two-person kayak and paddle with your guide through the mangrove passageways to Bird Island. Experience the stunning sunset and the birds flying to their evening roosts. Explore the island from the unique vantage point of the kayak before you continue around Bovoni Cay and return to the marina. Gratuity for your guides.

The Sunset Kayak Tour begins and ends at The Virgin Islands Ecotours Marina in the Mangrove Lagoon. Bikinis Bar & Grill serves sandwiches, food and snacks and can have alcoholic tropical drinks waiting for you upon your return to the marina after your kayak tour is finished.
The beautiful golden hour around sunset in the Mangrove Lagoon is an enchanting time to explore the shallow maze of the Mangrove Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary and Marine Preserve while paddling in your easy to paddle sit-on-top kayaks.

Perez was a great guide for our family
Good instruction for the kayaks. Was a great experience even as a first-timer. And our guide Perez was fun and easy to talk to.
Great tour! Easy to find location, super friendly and helpful staff. Small sized tour (about 8 in total including us) that lasted about 2h. Our guide was Perez and he knew so much about the area, animals, and the island overall. Definitely recommend!!!
Perez was an absolute delight! The sunset tour allowed us to see several breaching turtles!

The kayaking trip was great, but don't let Perez call you a taxi. We should have known better when the taxi sign was missing, but Perez seemed like a good guy. His friend was a rip off artist charging two and a half times the official rate. Not sure what Perez said in Creole to him right before we left, but shame on him for setting us up.

When requested, our guides are happy to call a taxi for guests as a courtesy, but transportation services operate independently of our company. We had a lot of fun. Guide Perez was very knowledgeable. It would have been cool to be grouped with activity/ difficulty level as it was a bit slow for us who are a little more experienced, but the sunset was absolutely gorgeous and we had a blast!

We had a great time with Perez. It was beautiful and peaceful in that area of sanctuary and mangroves. I learned so much about sea life there while taking in all the beauty with a little bit of workout. We loved it. I also got to see a couple turtle heads pop up real quick and learn and see what a conch is.
