Break away from the typical harbor boat tour and take a quiet, relaxing, and delightful cruise of Newport Harbor and Narragansett Bay's East Passage aboard a traditionally restored 50-foot lobster boat. Watch the sun set in a comfortably cushioned and shaded deck, or from the top 'sunny side' deck. The guides, many of whom grew up on these waters, are enthused to share the legends and rich history of their home port. On every cruise, there's something special and complimentary from the galley that is representative of Rhode Island cuisine and culture. Guests on board discover the true flavor of The Ocean State, all compliments of the Captain. Sunset cruisers will enjoy a quahog "stuffie" and champagne to toast their relaxing evening on the water. The cash bar on board serves a selection of Narragansett Beer, Newport Vineyard white wines, and other Rhode Island signature drinks.

Guide was funny and had very interesting stories of the sights (special houses & yachts) we saw. The sunset was gorgeous. I cannot even begin to describe how yummy the mudslide was! The sunset champagne toast was a nice touch. Boat was comfortable and the upper level offered great views. I HIGHLY recommend this excursion!!! Have fun!
Our trips was cancelled for foul weather. Understandable. While they did "try" to call, they didn't leave a voicemail, text or email. We showed up; no one at the dock meeting point and no sign on their little ticket booth. We and others were there to form our own assumptions. DO BETTER. COMMUNICATE LIKE IT'S 2026.

They must have canceled and never informed us, there were others walking around as well wondering why there were no employees there.

We made multiple attempts to call the number in your reservation provided from Viator, but those calls did not go through. Booth staff was present in the booth in the morning, and did leave after the cancellation calls were made. A staff member was standing by via call forwarding to answer any incoming phone calls throughout the day. Really fun sunset cruise (though the sun did not show itself). Nice trip along the bay.The staff was friendly and Dave kept us entertained as he narrated the tour. Drinks service was done efficiently and champagne toast was fun. Captain kept us on course and on time.

From the time you check in and receive your tickets everyone’s very pleasant . It was great experiencing the views from the ocean, looking at the homes and the history of each home..

We had a really great time on this experience. We both said it was one of our favorites. Everyone was very nice. I think his name was Dave was quite funny and kept us laughing. He also made sure to include everyone and went around asking if people were celebrating something, I thought that was a nice touch. The ride was smooth. Free champagne toast, but there was also drinks to buy on board. It was nowhere near as crowded or as long of line as other places we passed. My partner even pointed out that he was glad we were on this one because he saw another one pass that was packed. Great experience, highly recommend.
