Welcome aboard Taboo ! Taboo is a cozy sailing catamaran and the perfect way to discover the romantic side of Moorea by sailing with a polynesian sunset. Take place on board for enjoying a quiet and relaxing cruise. Have a drink and living the moment. We sail on the North coast of Moorea, toward the legendary Cook's Bay. Then, we go outside the bareer reef to admire the natural environment in its purest state. Enjoy a panoramic view on the majestic mountains and landscapes of Moorea and a magical sunset on the Tiahura's motu.

Pickup Locations & Times
We will confirm you the exact appointment by message in your TripAdvisor/Viator mailbox. We start from our boat mooring at the marina of Opunohu. We can arrange pick up and drop off for you on Moorea island for an additional cost which is depending on the location of your accommodation. We pick you up on the main roadside of the Island ("route de ceinture") if you are on Temae path you have to meet us at the Golf or at Temae P.o. boxes.

We had a wonderful time with Voila Moorea. Even though the weather was cloudy at first, it cleared up during the tour, and we were able to see so many beautiful and diverse views of Moorea. The explanations on board were very interesting, and the view from the boat was amazing. We enjoyed both the calm sailing in the bays and the more open sailing outside the reef. Doris was very kind and welcoming, and Luca was a wonderful and skilled sailor. Thanks to the Voila Moorea team, this became one of the most memorable experiences of our trip to French Polynesia. Highly recommended!

The guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. My friends and I did believe that there would be snack food though, which there wasn’t, but the drinks were delicious.

It was a wonderful trip along the coast into the sunset. We liked doing this with a small group. Captain Sebastian was great and told us a lot about the area. We loved the mai tais during the sailing. It was a wonderful experience and we really can recommend it!!

Evidently they sent a cab to pick us up. Not sure if he came to our hotel or another one but they called us at 5:20 said the cab had been there to pick us up but we were not there. They also said that they checked at the front desk and looked for us in the bar. We asked all four people at the front desk and they said nobody had asked for us. They refused to refund our money and we were furious. Tahiti is full of very nice native people but these folks were nasty french types who lie through their teeth. What a nightmare!

We had an amazing time on the Taboo with Leo and JP! They were so great the entire time and really took so many steps to make sure our experience was perfect. The sunset was gorgeous, the scenery beautiful, and the mai tais were delicious!
Leo is a great host. We had a lovely evening on the water to enjoy the wonderful Moorea sunset. Small group made it better than most Sunset sails. We actually did sail for most of the time
Very nice trip. Winds were calm, so we had to motor around which was fine. Our captain was friendly and very knowledgeable . The clouds to the west were too dense for a nice sunset. Mother Nature has her way sometimes. We were on the island 10 days with no colorful sunsets, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.
My husband and I sailed with Leo at the end of December and had a lovely time. Leo is very knowledgeable of the area and sprinkled some facts throughout our tour. Although we had some rain, and it was cloudy, we were able to see the sun peak out while it set. Gorgeous views and all in all, a great time! Definitely recommend!
Leo was the best captain - gave us a great tour of Moorea's stunning shoreline which was accompanied by a big vibrant double-rainbow and one of the most gorgeous sunsets either of us had ever seen, all with Mai Tais in hand. What more can you ask for? Thanks for making us feel right at home and showing us the magic of Moorea.
