Sunrise SUP tour & breakfast - Private stand up paddle boarding experience

SUP is a great way to see this magnificent city from a different angle. The views from the water are truly stunning. The water isn’t too cold either, I should know, I fell in three times! From the moment we booked we knew it was going to be a good experience, the correspondence was first class. Borja, our instructor, picked us up right outside our front door. His knowledge of the local area is second to none. He gave us so many tips of things to do whilst in San Sebastián. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this experience.

We had so much fun on our SUP tour with Borja. He was so easy to talk to and fun to be around. Penny helped us scheduled everything and was more than accommodating. We would definitely recommend this to anyone going to San Sebastián!

It was a wonderful, unique way to experience the beauty of San Sebastián! We were lucky that the weather was perfect. Borja was our guide, and he was really great. The bay is calm, so paddling was a workout but not too difficult. Highly highly recommend!

I didn't know what would be more challenging - convincing my partner to get up early or staying up on the paddleboard! As first-timers, Borja our guide, was very patient and cheered us on when we made it up. The view of the bay at this time in the morning was amazing, and as it was the summer time, the sea was lovely and warm. I didn't mind falling in a few times ;) Afterwards, we had some great coffee and home-made granola to replenish our energy. Amazing service we booked the trip for a birthday and they organised with champagne and a good breakfast. The instructor was really helpful and very kind. We highly recommend this and with the earlier tour as the sunrise was lovely and it really made the birthday special. Thank you Borja and Penny 👌🏻

An amazing experience at sunrise, this place is magical. I enjoyed every minute of it. Penny and Borja made me feel so at ease, right from the moment we set off, until I was dropped off. I would highly recommend this, no matter whether it's your first time on a paddle board or you're an experienced SUPper. Fantastic!!

You will be picked up early enough from the hotel/place you are staying, so as to allow a full day of other activity, but you will wish that other activity was more SUP. On time, our car and B were outside. After a quick ride through the centre of the town to the beach, wetsuits were on and a thorough safety briefing and training allowed us straight into the water. B accepted our status as novices graciously and set the bar low, so when we did make it out to the island of Santa Clara, we thought we had won the Olympics. Once we were settled on the boards, albeit on bum and knees, he put the island and surrounds into perspective, historically and with a local brush, paddling all the while. He has a great sense of humour, and is interested in the people he is teaching. A fabulous swim in the bay followed before the true beachcomber’s breakfast with his own homemade granola, the best ever. What a way to start the day.

My brother and I are on a sibling trip and came to San Sebastián after stopping in Amsterdam. The booking of the tour was so super easy. Borja picked us up right outside of our hotel and was so nice! My brother and I really enjoyed the SUP and would recommend this as the perfect way to start a day in San Sebastián. I’m already looking forward to coming back and booking with Experience San Sebastián again! If I could give this experience a 100 starts it I would! Borja was incredibly attentive yet relaxed and helped put us at ease on our first SUP experience.the water was a little choppy today and the wind didn't do us favours but the sunrise was amazing and we mostly stayed upright. The visit to the island was special and along with the commentary and information about San Sebastian that you could only get with the views looking back at the town from the water, it made for an unforgettable experience. Coffee and homemade granola to finish were a nice touch. All in all, a highlight of our trip. Thank you, were looking forward to seeing the pictures. Ted & Claire

Penny and Borja have been excellent. Very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Borja was really friendly and got us kitted out with all of the gear, we really didn't to worry about anything. He even took pictures of us on the water and sent them over the same day. After a lesson on the beach we went into the bay and had an interesting tour, with a quick stop on the island, which was very quiet that time. It was an early start, but well worth it. The city and bay looked amazing as the sun rose and the water was so quiet. We'd recommend the tour and will look into their other activities next time we're in the city. Thank you! Tom and Lily
