A great experience. The equipment was very good and Gaylord was knowledgeable and a great guide. The coastline is stunning and you go inside multiple caves. Definitely recommended - I did the trip solo and was not a problem.

Very well organized we had a blast ! He provided wetsuits for the morning sup ! He took pictures for us ! We really recommend it ( we were all first timers) ! Thank you for the experience!!

This tour is THE BEST!! We started our tour at sunrise and witnessed several other tours going out all with about 10-20 people. We had only my family and that’s it! So personal! We were able to access so many caves that we wouldn’t be able to with a big group. Gaylord is a fantastic guide. He knows so much about the history of the area and the caves. He takes a bunch of photos and will email them all at the end of your trip so you can have your memories forever! The scenery is nothing short of STUNNING and the water is the clearest most beautiful shade of turquoise you can imagine. This experience is magical. It was by far the highlight of the trip. Book it!

The sunrise SUP was magical- the best way to see the caves and cliffs of the Algarve. Our Guide, Gaylord, was professional and an amazing paddler with lots of local history and a respect for the ocean. Early morning is much better because there were no boats out, just us and a couple other paddlers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this as the best way to see the grotto’s.

Booked this two days in advance. At 11:45pm the night before a 06:30am meetup I received an email canceling the tour for "weather conditions". I assume the conditions were too good for Sygma Surf as I was lucky to get a place with another tour operator and the conditions were clear, calm and a smooth sup session. So do not book this unreliable crowd if you want to a sunrise paddle board experience. Now still waiting for my refund from Viator.

Please allow me to explain: for our SUP tours to run smoothly, we need a minimum of participants. In your case, you were unfortunately the only booking for that date. I waited until very late at night, hoping that more people would join so that the tour could still take place. When no additional bookings came through, I had no choice but to cancel. TripAdvisor/Viator does not provide operators with an automatic way to set minimum group sizes, and they penalize cancellations unless they are weather-related. This is why you received that reason on the cancellation notice. It was not meant to mislead you, but rather to protect our ability to continue operating on the platform. For over 7 years we have consistently provided 5-star experiences (more than 60 reviews), and we take great pride in the quality and reliability of our service. This situation was exceptional, and I regret that it left you disappointed. I’m glad you were still able to enjoy the beautiful conditions in Lagos with another operator, and I truly hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future to show you the level of service that so many of our guests have appreciated. It’s so great to be back on the paddleboard with such an amazing group. Gaylord was excellent, he took us on a ride to the caves, with full historical commentary! Loved to paddle and learn from the history of the site! He was also super patient with the group, checking in on everyone, helping improve technique and putting always safety first, as it was a windy, wavy morning. He was so kind to wait a little for someone, although he had to be fair to the rest of us who were on time as this person arrived 30min later, when we were ready to hit the water, so she had to miss it. Overall, amazing time! Fully recommend the views, the sun, the water, the guide! Great exercise too!

We loved this experience! The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient. The water was medium, with some dangerous sections but considering all 6 of us had never been paddle boarding, he guided us incredibly well. I personally found it exhilarating, would recommend:)
