Itinerary

30 min

Konjic is a town located in northern Herzegovina, around 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest of Sarajevo. It is a mountainous, heavily wooded area, and is 268 m (879 ft) above sea level. Konjic Stara Ćuprija (Old Bridge) was built between 1682 and 1683 by Ali-aga Hasečić (as shown by a stone plaque at the center of the bridge). It was built over six slightly pointed stone arches. It is the best preserved Ottoman bridge in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The arches were destroyed by the retreating German army in March 1945. The bridge was rebuilt in its original state between 2003 and 2009. The bridge is now proclaimed a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Finally, experience the Kravice Waterfalls, a stunning natural oasis where you can admire cascading turquoise waters surrounded by lush greenery—a perfect spot for relaxation and breathtaking photos.

30 min

Step into history in this enchanting medieval town. Wander its cobbled streets, explore centuries-old stone fortifications, and admire the well-preserved Ottoman architecture, all nestled in stunning natural surroundings.

30 min

Vrelo Bune is a natural and architectural ensemble located at the spring of the Buna River near Blagaj, a village-town, and is part of the wider "Townscape ensemble of the town of Blagaj — Historical and Natural Heritage of Bosnia and Herzegovina"

60 min

Blagaj Tekija is a Dervish monastery outside Mostar, Bosnia, that’s nearly 600 years old. Situated at the base of a cliff, next to the source of the river Buna, it’s a unique and picturesque series of buildings that looks even better in person than it does in pictures. The Tekija (or Tekke) was first founded during the height of the Ottoman empire. Time and rock slides have led to extensive repairs and reconstruction to the buildings. Today, thanks largely to a Turkish travel agency, the Tekke looks mostly as it did in the past.

120 min

The historic town of Mostar, spanning a deep valley of the Neretva River, developed in the 15th and 16th centuries as an Ottoman frontier town and during the Austro-Hungarian period in the 19th and 20th centuries. Mostar has long been known for its old Turkish houses and Old Bridge, Stari Most, after which it is named. In the 1990s conflict, however, most of the historic town and the Old Bridge, designed by the renowned architect Sinan, was destroyed. The Old Bridge was recently rebuilt and many of the edifices in the Old Town have been restored or rebuilt with the contribution of an international scientific committee established by UNESCO.

30 min

According to the legend, when the old Illyrians saw the emerald green river, they shouted Nera – Etwa!, which means ‘’Divinity that flows’’. With its 230 km long path from the source to the confluence with the Adriatic Sea, Neretva has formed a narrow canyon from which the sky looks like a tiny blue ring.

Thank you Ben!

I was a little nervous about booking the tour being a solo female traveller but it couldn’t have been better. Guide Ben was friendly, a great driver and gave the right amount of information at each stop. Not too much or too little but some key facts about each area we visited and then we had time to explore on our own. I felt safe and enjoyed the trip. There were 3 other solo female travellers as well and 7 of us in total so it wasn’t a huge crowd which was nice. I would recommend this tour, company and of course ask for Ben! This country is stunning, beautiful and has so much to see and the people are the icing on the cake as make you very welcome.

Good luck but older vehicles

Nice trip with good guide. But the minibus we were travelling in was old and the driver had trouble keeping up speed. Spontaneous he said this vehicle doesn't hold up for this kind of tour.

Fantastic

A very nice trip to Herzegovina, thanks to our guide Adissa, who did all this great! The nature and scenery are breathtaking, the waterfalls in Kravice are just fantastic and the people are incredibly nice. The tour lasts all day and you are ko in the evening, but what you get to see compensates for everything. I highly recommend the tour!! Thank you

Very nice excursion with an extremely friendly and competent guide

Mostar and the other destinations of the tour are definitely worth a visit. However, the guide Benjamin, who made the day very entertaining, should be singled out.

Unforgettable day trip to Mostar

The day trip from Sarajevo to Mostar was a wonderful experience! Along the way we made several interesting stops with great historical value, which made the journey even more exciting. I would particularly like to highlight our private German-speaking tour guide Mohammed Becirović, who impressed us with his extensive knowledge, kindness and enthusiasm for the history of Bosnia. I can highly recommend it to all German speaking tourists who want to visit Sarajevo and Mostar!
