Explore the Summit Craters of Mount Etna accompanied by the volcano’s official guides. Once at the top, you can feel the breath of the volcano and enjoy a breathtaking view! The adventure begins at Piano Provenzana, where 4x4 vehicles will take you up to 2900 meters. From there, the hike begins — a round-trip route of about 6 km — leading to the thrilling Central Crater of Etna at 3300 meters above sea level. Upon reaching the summit, you'll stand on an extraordinary panoramic point, with stunning views across all of Sicily and even as far as the Aeolian Islands. It’s here that you can truly sense the soul of the volcano. The return path will be chosen based on weather conditions, passing through volcanic channels and deposits. The tour ends back at Piano Provenzana with a 4x4 descent. This adventure offers not only an unforgettable experience but also the unique opportunity to explore one of the most fascinating volcanic environments in the world, enriched by expert guide narration and the raw power of Mount Etna.

3 stars, because we arrived at the location and no one had our reservation... a guide added us to a tour, and from there it was 5 stars; it was wonderful, and Simone, the guide, was excellent. Poor organization.
The trek is accessible to everyone and definitely worth it. Our guide, Arturo, was very good at explaining all the various aspects of Etna and always ready to answer our questions. The view is spectacular and unforgettable. Definitely an experience that I recommend to do

Our experience with the Etna Summit Craters for Small Groups excursion was fantastic. Everything was well organized and we were able to fully enjoy the beauty of the Etna Volcano. Our guide, Claudio, was extremely professional. He also provided us with lots of interesting information about the geology and history of Etna, making our tour an experience full of fascinating information, as well as breathtaking scenery. Walking on the summit craters of Etna was surreal, with spectacular views from the Sicilian coast to the lava fields, and unique and unforgettable views. I highly recommend!
