This tour was everything it said and more. Our tour guide Ricardo was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and just overall wonderful to be around. We booked the half day but decided to extended to the full day to include a visit to Christ the Redeemer because we were enjoying ourselves and given we had a wonderful tour guidd. The group size was not too big. We did not have to stay in long lines as Ricardo got our tickets for us. Overall 5 stars for the company that organized this trip and 10 starts for Ricardo!!
We had the MOST AMAZING private guided tour ever thanks to Monica. She is a top notch guide with beyond imaginable knowledge in history, general culture and arts. She made our half day tour very timely, efficient and joyful. An event which will remain memorable for life. Go to the Sugarloaf with Monica without any hesitation!
Being in Brazil was wonderful! To be perfectly honest our first day was overwhelming but in a positive way - busy city- LANGUAGE BARRIER! So translator worked overtime! We met Monica for a city tour on day two. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a blessing to have a guide that was so passionate about her job and our group. We were a private group with a senior and she made sure that everywhere we went that accommodation was made for her. We saw the city and learned so much!!! We also were fortunate to have her for our Sugarloaf Mountain Experience and city tour on day 3 as well! Thank you Monica for making this a wonderful and memorable experience!
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide Lavinia Bettencourt. Very well organized. Good view of the city from the top of the Sugarloaf Mountain.
My only complaint is that Viator put me in a group with a guide that didn’t speak English. I’m not sure why that was done when I requested an English guide. If it wasn’t for other English speaking people on the tour I would have missed a lot of information. The tour itself is good though. Going in the morning is the best time to see Sugarloaf as you avoid the huge crowds. The photos you will get are out of this world.
Hi! Thanks for your comment! We are glad that you were amazed by Rio. We are sorry for this situation, it is really odd, our guides are bilingual. But we're glad you enjoyed it!
