The absolute best ever. 100/10. Guides were so lovely. Punctual, professional, smart friendly. This is a must. But found out the company does a lot more tours. I’d stick with them. I could talk about this trip forever. Great memories. Spectacular views. Get ready to hike in altitude. If you are out of shape, I’d skip the hiking. Horse riding was the best, then there’s the hike through vegetation to the boat, which takes you across this luminescent lake. A brief hike after and it’s lunch time. Hate to safe it but this was my tastiest meal in Ethiopia, even better than what I had at Marcus Samuelson’s overrated restaurant (caveat: view from 47th Flr phenomenal).
Best experience ever! 10/10. Great guide and driver. Tour itself phenomenal. Horse riding so fun, hiking, boat ride, what an incredible experience. Lunch was phenomenal. Memories for a life time.
It was a great experience to discover beauty of Ethiopia with a mini trekking. Yaya is e great guide telling everything around area. Highly recommended.
That was a very well arranged day tour from A to Z . Anyone visiting Addis shouldn’t miss the views after the city up towards the crater lake and its beautiful views. Also seeing the views around the mud pond plus the tiny waterfall. It is very stiff coming up from the lake and also the mud ponds area. It’s better to ride a horse.
This trip exceeded my expectations! The guide was fantastic and made the day both fun and exciting. During the hike, an additional guide joined us, providing valuable information and helping us find great spots for pictures. The hike was incredibly enjoyable, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The local people were friendly and willing to take photos with us. There is a delightful boat ride that also brings you to a charming monastery. Bringing small items or bills for the children and the church is a good idea, as they genuinely enjoy interacting with tourists.
cool trip to the rural area outside Addis. The trips are well organized. Eyayaw is also aware of the security situation and is a good point of contact for tours in Ethiopia. At the place you make an approximate 2-hour hike (easy) and a boat tour. You can also admire locals' cabins and their ways of life. The drive is also interesting, as you pass remote villages.
If you want to get out of the city, this tour is a must! The views will take your breath away. Eyayaw is an amazing guide. I highly recommend the tour!
