We had such a great time on this biking food tour with Valentin and Amistad. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the city and made us feel safe and comfortable navigating the streets the entire time. The pace was perfect, with a nice mix of biking and stops to try different foods. It was a fun and efficient way to see the Roma and Condesa neighborhoods and experience a variety of local spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend if you want a more immersive way to explore Mexico City!
I had a fabulous experience with Marisa and Alejandra! We came to Mexico City for the San Diego Padres baseball game, and heard great things about Bikes and Munchies, so we booked a bike/food tour. We had the best time exploring Roman Norte… this is truly an exceptional area in Mexico City with lots of cute coffee, shops, bakeries, variety of foods, and Mexican originals.:) One opportunity for improvement would be getting a microphone or stopping in areas that aren’t so loud… At times it was hard to hear the tour guides. But they were very knowledgeable, kind, and fun. They made sure we were very safe on the roads while bicycle riding, too. Anyone can do it! One recommendation for tourists is to bring padded spandex // etc for your bum. The bicycle seats are not in great shape. The bikes are totally safe (I work for a bicycle manufacturer); brakes and chains are intact. However seats are not comfortable, handlebars can be narrow or wide, and helmets are not the best. It would be awesome to get a few upgrades with bike seats and helmet when possible! Thank you very much ladies for making the day so memorable. We will definitely see you next time!! Xoxo
Awesome food tour of Roma and Condesa! The bike rides were very secure and easy to follow. It was nice to be able to see points of interest as well as trying food. It ends with a very long bike ride which was a perfect way to get in some exercise after eating for several hours. We went on a Sunday morning when the main roads are closed and it was an incredible way to get around the city.
Velia and Rodrigo were FANTASTIC tour guides on our Roma and Condesa food tour by bicycle! Not only excellent bites but great insights. We got to explore new foods at authentic local spots we’d never have found on our own! And they took great care in keeping us safe, with a safety rider stopping at each intersection to pause traffic for us. Useful advice, personal insights, and a warm vibe that made us feel welcome. THANK YOU!!
The Bikes and Munchies tour was a great time. Valentin, Miranda and Velia were great guides who worked as a team to get us through the city. Food sampling was great, quick bits of history throughout the tour, and enjoyed the group of guests that were with us. 13 bikers, 3 guides, and lots of fun!
Excellent activity to discover the city and its roots. Our Valentine guide was exceptional, we loved this activity!
It felt like exploring the city with a group of friends rather than being on a tour. I’d 100% recommend this to anyone who wants to see a city in an active, delicious, and memorable way — whether it’s your first visit or you think you already know the place. Plus, our guide Miranda was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even more fun.
We had a great time on this tour! Guides were friendly, informative and guided us safely through the streets. Food was amazing!
It was amazing We learned so much about the history of Mexico City 🇲🇽, as well as enjoying the unique neighborhoods. I felt totally safe on the bike. Our guide was so vigilant about safety and gave great directions and support. The food we sampled was outstanding. I so enjoyed his input and knowledge as this was my first visit to Mexico City 🇲🇽
This is a great experience! Andrew and Amistad were fantastic guides, historians, hosts, and guardians of our safety on the ride. The food was delicious and timed well between riding and eating. My only regret was not doing this sooner in our trip. Shout out to Miranda for keeping us company after the tour with kind and fun conversation.
