Our guide, Elora, was amazing. Our tour was exceptional. We learned historic information, cultural insights, other places to visit and spot on food recommendations. The time flew by it was so fun and engaging:
A nice experience and a great way to get to know the city. We really appreciated the opportunity to customize the tour directly with the guide. The booking experience, however, was not the best. After entering all the details on Viator, we received an automatic reply from the company asking us to provide the same information again in a direct message. This did not leave a very professional impression. As I understand it, the company accepts the bookings and then outsources the tours to local guides. That's fine, but I still don't understand why we essentially had to go through the booking process twice.
Terrible, our guide for the city of Strasbourg was not prepared at all, she did not know anything about the history of the city, she gave us completely false facts and evaded questions, we felt completely disappointed, we do not recommend this service at all, we felt scammed
Great time even in the crazy heat. Lots of history and local knowledge. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the fence.
Fantastic private tour. Marius was very friendly and a knowledgeable guide. He was very flexible with our requests. It’s always better to take a tour with a local like Marius.
Our tour guide was fantastic. She was super flexible and was great company. She knew the area well and was very open with her knowledge and answered any questions we had. This was a great tour.
We booked the tour in advance of our trip; they wrote to us that we had a guide assigned. The problem arose when about 2 or 3 hours before the tour started, they informed us that the guide had a scheduling issue or something like that and could not come, and that they were looking for another one. I spoke with them and asked them to let me know if the guide was coming or not, as we are a group, and if not, we would look for something else to do. They do not respond, and 10 minutes after the scheduled time with the guide, while waiting at the hotel door, since the excursion was still active, I contacted them, and they told me not to worry, that they would cancel the activity and refund my money. Honestly, I find it a huge lack of respect because even a couple of hours before, there were other activities we could have done. This shows a lack of empathy and respect for our time. Level of empathy with a traveler: 0.
It was exceptional; our guide Juliette could not have been better, super attentive despite the fact that she waited for us since we arrived late at our hotel where she picked us up to start the tour. She never seemed rushed by the schedule; on the contrary, it is clear that she enjoys what she does. She took us through the most important streets of the city, and a tour that was supposed to last 2 hours turned into a wonderful experience since Juliette knows a lot about the history of Strasbourg. More than a guide, she felt like a friend welcoming us to her city. I highly recommend her; we were enchanted by the beauty of this city as we learned so much about everything it has to offer!!💕
The guide stood us up. He notified us 2 hours in advance that he could not attend to us. Very unprofessional. We went from Colmar to Strasbourg just for that tour and nothing else. He didn't even warn us that the cathedral would be closed. In summary, terrible experience; do not book this tour.
Excellent tour operator. Knows a lot of interesting details about Strasbourg history. We will highly recommend him to our friends
