Description
Experience Stockholm from the water on a classic boat tour that showcases the city’s most famous landmarks, historic districts and scenic waterways. Enjoy a relaxing journey under twelve bridges and through the lock connecting the Baltic Sea with Lake Mälaren. Along the route, you’ll pass the inner city, Old Town, Södermalm, Lilla and Stora Essingen, Hammarby Sjöstad and the green parks of Djurgården, as well as well‑known bridges like Skeppsbron, Skanstullsbron and Essingeleden. The tour is guided in English, with additional languages (German, Spanish, Finnish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Swedish) available via audio guide on your smartphone using the free onboard Wi‑Fi. An onboard café offers Swedish fika, snacks, sandwiches, beer and wine.

Stockholm's island Old Town is a charming place to stroll around on cobbled streets and visit little shops and nice restaurants. You will se the Royal Palace when passing.
The lush green island of Royal Djurgården is home to many of the city's main attractions like the Vasa Museum, Skansen outdoor museum, ABBA the Museum, the Nordic Museum among others.
You will go around the biggest of Stockholm's 14 islands, called Södermalm. This once was home to poor but today is one of the most sought after areas with it's trendy shops and laid back hipster lifestyle.
The impressing City Hall with it's three golden crowns on top. This is where the annual Nobel Prize Banquet is held.

Nice sailing. Staff friendly and helpful. However, the trip could be much better if the electric boat was sailed when the engine sounded.
A very one-sided tour. The route does not really go through Stockholm. It is a 2-hour tour. 15 minutes. After about an hour, the boat returns along the same route with the same explanations about the locations (buildings or squares) as on the way there. A boring tour that is not worth your money.

Best to go in a not too busy time because there are four seats on each side of the aisle. The wine was cold and tasty. The information appreciated.

A cruise of 2 to 3 hours was made in 45 minutes. The weather was good and it had to be dispatched. Free, that cheating is universal!

It is out and back so you see the same things twice. The in-your-ear audio system was not synced to the loudspeakers and malfunctioned. I will say I recommend this because it is a good way to see the city.

Included in our Go City pass this surpassed our expectations. Well paced and informative with well equipped vessel (cafe and toilets). Have really good idea and feel for the city’s relationship with the sea.

This is a boat tour run by Stromma, which operates a lot of the excursions and tours in Stockholm. The tour starts at Stromkajen and takes you around Gamla Stan and Sodermalm islands in a clockwise loop. Ideally, you would finish by passing through the locks at Slussen but at the moment, those locks are closed due to construction. As a result, you end up retracing your route all the way around Sodermalm back to the start. So basically half the trip is seeing stuff you already saw. There are some good points. The boat passes through a lock (twice) which is unique. They had a nice audio commentary over the loudspeakers in English. The main downside was that the passengers got bored with the commentary about a third of the way through and started drinking beers, chatting, laughing, and being generally rowdy. This was not even in the peak season, so the boat was only half full. Anyway, with all the passenger noise, it was not possible to hear the commentary. The operators provide an app that works on your phone and can play the same commentary through your headphones, but sadly, the app stopped generating commentary about a third of the way through. This is also the only option if you don’t speak English. So all of those people would be out of luck. The price (about $40) is quite high for what you get. We took an equally long ferry ride to Vaxholm for about 1/8 the price and enjoyed the scenery more.

Was a lovely way to see stockholm from the water. Great informative information as well. Just remember if you are travelling during winter to rug up!

not advisable during winter as you can’t sit outside and the view is very limited from inside the cruise so does justify the value for money

The cruise took you right around Stockholm and it was worth the money. It's a pre recorded voice telling you information and pointing out buildings. Went for a decent 2hrs
