You will picked up from your hotel afternoon approximately at 3.00pm (exact details will be confirmed locally), then you will drive into the heart of Sinai desert until you reach a Bedouin camp. Firstly you will do the camel ride in the desert enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and nature beauty. Then you will relax at the Bedouin tent where you will be able to try the amazing Bedouin tea with a great flavor of "Habak" which is very useful for the stomach issues & dry throats. Then Bedouins will show you the way of making their tasty bread and let you try to make it by yourself. By the sunset you can climb up a nearby mountain to enjoy the fantastic view of the desert and the other mountains. After the sunset the open buffet dinner will be ready. You will enjoy the dinner under the clear sky as you can see the stars and it will be a good chance for you to try the traditional food which is absolutely very yummy.
Then you will be able to enjoy the Bedouin folkloric show & music presented by the Bedouins themselves. After the show a very informative astronomer will take you to telescopes area and will give you some information about the night sky (stars, horoscopes & constellations), explain you stars and planets locations. You can enjoy stargazing through the telescopes placed in the desert for 45 minutes as well as get a chance to take pictures of the night sky. Finally you will take you back to your hotel at Sharm El Sheikh with a great memory which you will never forget.

Good way to get a taste of several activities, from camel riding to stargazing, at a reasonable price. Dinner was good and the performance was entertaining. All in all, a good way to cap off an Egyptian vacation.

We went on this excursion not knowing what to expect. It was our last night in Sharm, and my husband was exhausted from his week of doing nothing. The company had texted us the night before and let us know that we would be picked up at 4pm. We were picked up by Muhamed, who gave us a primer on the history of Sharm, and how it currently operated. We drove out to the safari, and were greeted with an interesting traffic jam of quad bikes and camels. Then we went for a short camel ride, led by some local bedouin men. They will take photos of you, and they do want to be tipped. And you should tip them, even if you are morally opposed to tipping as a practice, this is their culture and we should treat them with respect. Also how often are you going to ride a camel in your life? It's a very neat experience. Camels are way sturdier than horses, but if you're afraid of heights, you are up much taller on the camels than you are on a typical horse. After the camel ride, we went out to the Bedouin dinner, where you receive both dinner and a show. There is a small hike where you can take in a panoramic view of the desert, it's very pretty, but getting down is a bit of a bear if you're tall and have bad knees and terrible balance. Don't worry, someone will help you. The show consisted of bellydancing, fire dancing, and dinner. The rice is absolutely incredible. I don't normally rave about rice, but I genuinely wanted the recipe. The chicken was fine, and the salad was pleasantly spiced. After dinner and the show we were taken to the telescopes. It was a bit overcast, but we were still able to see the moon, Jupiter, and Orion. From the telescopes we saw Jupiter and 3 of it's moons, and our moon. The astronomy expert was very funny, and kept things moving. Mohamed dropped us back off at our hotel at 8:30pm. I never once felt in danger in the car, and I learned a lot. A good mix of active learning. It also felt like the perfect amount of time for an excursion. Mohamed and the Sharm Smile Team were absolutely wonderful. 10/10
