Gabriela is very knowledgeable and answered a lot of questions. I wasn’t sure where to meet in the square and calling the direct number was direct to vendor and easily got us directions to our guide. Skipping the lines was fabulous with the tour for just our party of 6 people. Women need to cover shoulders and knees by the way.
Very well done! Our tour guide was lovely! Our “small group” turned out to be only my party of 3! I really enjoyed the way our guide gave us lots of details and facts but also fun, little-known facts too! She really made the place come alive for us! Absolutely worth every penny to hear the stories and explanations. Otherwise, you’re just walking through a big church. 🙂
What an amazing experience! We were blown away, book early as this books up fast. The entire family enjoyed the tour. Gondola ride was relaxing and a neat way to see Venice.
The tour guide, Suzzie, made the experience about architecture, art, history, and culture. She shared the importance of the Bassicilica and it's role in the development of Venice and the region. The tour was very enjoyable, thanks to Suzzie's passion for the subject matter.
This tour is a wealth of information. If you truly want to understand the history, then I highly recommend this tour. Completely an eye opening experience.
Our guide, Traci was delightful and very knowledgeable. She was on time and answered our questions. Only 2 of us in group so very nice
We enjoyed our tour of St. Mark’s Basilica very much. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the beautiful church. We did not do the gondola with this tour but did it the previous day and would highly recommend that, too.
Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re very happy you enjoyed the visit and appreciated the guide’s knowledge and enthusiasm. It’s great to hear you would also recommend the gondola experience, it really adds something special to a Venice visit
Great booking instructions on where to meet our guide Rita. She was extremely knowledgeable and was kind enough to answer some questions we had about the Doges Palace as well. Definitely recommend, thanks Rita 😊
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re glad the meeting instructions were clear and that you had such a positive experience with Rita. It’s great to hear she was able to answer your questions and even add extra insights along the way. We really appreciate your recommendation.
Peaceful gondola experience. The St Marks tour wasn’t as good unfortunately. Tough accent on the guide, plus crowds, made it a strain to understand. Plus there was little context given on St Marks (went right into architecture and symbolism, vs the history and background of the basilica). It was fine, just not great for the money.
Thank you for taking the time for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the St Mark’s tour did not fully meet your expectations. We truly appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration as we continue working to improve the experience for future guests.
St. Mark’s Basilica is breathtaking both outside and inside. The Byzantine influence on the architecture and mosaic art was a surprise and makes sense now that I understand the history of St Mark the Evangelist and his connections to Constantinople . Stunning mosaics dominate the artwork. This small group tour with Rita was wonderful . She is incredibly knowledgeable about the history, art, architecture, and religious traditions associated with the Basilica. She pointed out particularly important things to photograph & gave us time to do so. I highly recommend the small group tour with Rita.
