- The official St. Mark's Basilica ticket price is €12.00 per person (standard) or €24.00 with terrace access; the remaining part of the price covers assistance at the meeting point, accompanied entry with a certified guide or host, access to the Venice Gallery with a dedicated VR experience, the use of an audio guide or radio system with earphones and sales costs.
- A valid ID document is mandatory for security checks at the entrance to the Basilica.
- For the visit of the Basilica suitable clothing is required (no shorts).

- St. Mark’s Basilica: Exterior Guided Tour (Entry Ticket Not Included) - This option includes a guided tour of the Basilica's exterior only. If you wish to visit the interior on your own, you may purchase an entry ticket for €10.00 per person by scanning the QR code located outside the entrance.
- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the attraction.

We followed the google maos that was supplied by Viator. We meet with people holding Viator signs, we were early for our tour. They could not locate our tour we were sent to three Biator reps at different locations by the time they figured it out our tour left. I acalled and applied for a tefund because I was marked as a no show. It was clearly not our fault following there directions from google maps from there link. We were on other tour with Viator and never had a problem. I read on the boards there is a problem at this location all the time with there meeting points
First its misleading..beware its just the outside of the Basilica. But Anna was incredibly helpful and helped us buy the correct tickets. Her tour of the exterior was incredible. We loved her!!
This was easy to book and enjoyable, the guide was very knowledgeable and answered all questions that were asked. It was a small group and although only a 30mins tour you could stay in the basilica for as long as you wanted and add on other areas to your visit. Only problem we encountered was the codes didn’t work and we couldn’t get the assistance we needed.

It is without doubt a beautiful cathedral. Ensure you buy tickets in advance as the signs outside the cathedral will invariably say fully booked. A tip is to buy a ticket which allows entry to all parts of the cathedral otherwise you’ll be in and out in under 20 minutes. Attire is ‘respectful’ and they turn women away if the shoulders are not covered. Men’s shorts need to be knee length.

This is a great tour of the basilica. It starts by the newsstand and we were given an audio earpiece. Our guide walked us through Piazza San Marco and then straight into the basilica. She talked about the mosaics and the marble and explained lots of information about this incredible place. The tour lasted around 40 minutes which was great. We then paid a small amount more to go into the museum and to go to the terrace outside which has spectacular views. Thoroughly enjoyable. The basilica is quite dimly lit, but she said that if you are there at 11:30am they light the inside up for an hour. This would be incredible but we weren’t able to do this as we were there earlier.
Viator mislead us with this supposedly with a tour and guide of the outside of st marks basilica but it turned out to be some museum 15 minutes away. They then refused to refund saying we booked the museum despite having confirmation for a 45 minute outside Basilica tour. I would rethink any tours going forward with Viator.
The person from the company showed up extremely late, meaning our tour was maybe 12 minutes total. Rushed through the whole time and completely disorganized. Guide was nice and doing her best, but this was a sham of a tour.
