Our morning tour of the Basilica and Doges was amazing. Our afternoon on this tour had quick (10 minute) demonstrations of glass blowing and lace making with a lot of time left to wander the shops. All in all it was a great very full day and we enjoyed it.
The guides were amazing! This was 3 different tours combined. St Marks Basilica, Doges Palace, and Murano and Burano. There wasn’t much time between tours to grab food and use the restroom that is my only complaint. I loved Venice and being able to see so many things with this tour was fantastic.
Wonderful excursion! Doge palace and Basilica San Marco were gorgeous! We loved it our guide was very good also, she did have a strong Italian accent so it was a little difficult to understand her English. We had a great time though! The Murano and Burano islands were so beautiful and we bought a little something at both islands! The only thing that could have been a little better was a bigger boat to travel in. With our group it was a little tight on space. Our guide for the islands was amazing she did a great job!
Sure, we are in an incredible place at a great time of the evening starting. Yet, our guides information and style really made a difference. We are appreciative.
Very informative and well paced. My wife has mobility issues and guide was able to accommodate. The short 3d virtual reality intro was a nice touch too!
Very poor directions, took transport from trieste, guy had welcome on cell phone, had to call after 20 minute wait for him to go to dock. In Venice should have been left off at Realto stop by hotel, was not. Walked with all our luggage missed tour start time. Was told “should be no problem when debating canceling tour (577.00) and we missed it. Moved start point too, on cruise only found out after getting in Venice. Should be negative rating!
Excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Toured the Doge Palace and St. Mark's Basilica.
Excellent tour guide for Doges Palace and Basilica, but ear phones were not made for my ears and kept falling off. Try different type if earphones like headphones.
Our tour guide was an art historian who truly enhanced the experience. While waiting for the tour to start, there was an outdoor cafe where we enjoyed a morning espresso. Murano is a must see with amazing glass artwork !
Dear Guest, We appreciate your feedback. Thank you and hope to see you in Venice again. Regards, Nina-Venice Tours
Fabulous tour! I am so glad they split it into two days! Day 1 - Elena was entertaining as well as informative as she shared the rich history of St. Mark's Basilica and Doge's Palace with us! Day 2 - the first stop to the glass factory on Murano was awesome! The next stop to a lace making 'factory' in Burano was disappointing. The tour was large and the shop was small so only the first maybe 10 people who were fortunate enough to be up front saw and heard the demonstration while the rest of us could not. Perhaps plan to have several demonstrations so all of us could benefit from it. We had plenty of time to free time to explore the island so this could easily be arranged. Aside from that it was a pleasant day.
