Our guide Steven was wonderful. He contacted us a couple of days before the tour with details about pick up and about the day. The experience was provite for my husband and I, we had a lovely time to ge ti know one of the most beautiful areas of the island!
"Hi there! Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re thrilled that you enjoyed your private tour with Steven. We believe the little details—like reaching out a few days early—make all the difference in a great trip. We’re glad you had a lovely time getting to know the island and appreciate your kind words about Steven’s service."
As Viator subcontracts with various tour operators you should varify your itinerary with that company as we have found it is not exactly the same. Details may be a little vague. Our tour did not include a trip to the Cricket Statium nor the stop for scenic view with opportunity for pictures. We were given tickets to enter Pigeon Island and being dropped at the gate. Be aware there is no were to stow your beach gear. We ended up renting a beach chair and leaving our things on the beach while we hiked. (It's $3/chair band needs to be purchased at the gait). We did not have time to sit on the beach or snorkle (which we didn't see any options for that anyways) after exploring the island and hiking. I would recommend just walking/hiking the island and enjoying the views, the beach is small and if your already staying at a resort, not worth the time. Our lunch was at the hut at the enterance of the Park and was a voucher only worth $15 US dollars per person. Limited items on the menu for that amount so if this is the choice, plan on spending more for lunch. We were only staying about 30 mins from the Park, I think our choice would have been cheaper and just as easy to take a taxi/transportation booked via the resort. The park is pretty straight forward, enter through the main gait and explore the park. Stay for lunch (which was expensive and nothing special) or go back to your resort for lunch or stop in Rodney Bay for food.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry the tour didn’t meet your expectations and appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points for future guests. Our Pigeon Island Relax Experience is designed as a flexible, unhurried visit focused on exploration, views, and ease of access rather than a fully guided park tour. Entry tickets and round-trip transport are included, and lunch is provided via a voucher with local vendors outside the park, as outlined in the tour description. Additional items or upgrades are always optional. Scenic stops and added drive commentary can vary slightly based on timing, traffic, and guest preferences on the day, but we understand how missed expectations can impact the overall experience and we’ll use this feedback to improve clarity. We truly value your perspective and are glad you were able to enjoy the island’s views. Thank you again for booking with us and for helping future travelers make informed choices.
Jay our driver/ guide was very polite, friendly and punctual. The overall experience was good. Our only complaint would be the restaurant where we had lunch. Although Jay had gone in earlier with the order and given a time for our lunch we were left to wait a considerable time for our food and drink and we were lucky to find a table as none had been allocated to us. The food although nice was served in takeaway containers. Also the restaurant although close to the beach was not exactly beachfront and we were in fact facing parked cars rather than the beach.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for highlighting Jay’s professionalism, punctuality, and friendly service. We’re pleased to hear he helped make your time at Pigeon Island enjoyable and went the extra mile by placing your lunch order in advance to reduce waiting time — an important part of the extended service we aim to provide. Regarding lunch, your visit took place on New Year’s Day, which is one of the island’s most celebratory days. Many locals head to the beachfront areas, and increased traffic and demand can sometimes affect seating and service flow despite advance arrangements. While the restaurant is just a short walk — roughly 50 yards — from the beach, we understand how the setting felt different from expectations on such a busy day. We truly appreciate your balanced feedback. It helps us continue refining our experiences while maintaining the attentive guiding and thoughtful planning that define our tours.
I booked an excursion to Saint Lucia Pigeon Island. Unfortunately our tour guide Steven text me to inform me the Island was closed due to a Jazz festival. So, I can’t review the island but I tell you if you are in Saint Lucia hire Steven for a tour, he was incredible! He gave us several other options, and we ended up going on a rafting trip on the River. I was concerned as my mom has mobility issues. He assured me she would be well taken care of, and she had the best time! Steven, was very friendly, professional and informative. We had a great day due to his hospitality. Highly recommend the river rafting as well.
Thank you for your kind words! 🌴 While Pigeon Island wasn’t in the cards that day, we’re thrilled that your experience still turned into something magical 💫 River rafting in Saint Lucia offers such a peaceful escape—and we’re so happy your mom felt safe and cared for throughout. Steven and the team pride themselves on turning every twist into a personalized adventure. 🌊💛 #RiverRaftingSaintLucia #CHICExperience
Nice sightseeing, breath taking views and very good food at Joe Grill & Chill. Hiking the first peak is Ok, the second is much more challenging. The view from the first peak is actually nicer.
Thanks for the 5* review. This experience suited you perfectly. Who could ask for anything more -Breath-taking views and a great menu to suit!! The Ultimate Relaxer combo is the premier choice. #chichospitality
Had a great day out and Pigeon Island is well worth a visit. Steven from Chic Hospitality arrived as arranged, he is extremely nice and friendly. He was informative on the drive to Pigeon Island, including stopping at Rodney Bay to point out beaches, the shopping centres, best restaurants and bars. On arrival at Pigeon Island we agreed a return time. The climb up to Fort Rodney is by a gentle incline initially but then becomes quite steep. Finally there are wooden steps up to the very top. They are steep (like you get on boats) so I descended backwards which made it easier. The trip included an allowance for lunch at Joe’s Grill which is just outside the entrance to the park. We arrived there at the same time so it was initially very busy and the service seemed chaotic. We had the coconut shrimp small plate (you get 5 very large prawns) which were delicious so much so we wished we had gone large. We also had the calamari which were nice. After being on 2 trips and been guided around this trip enabled us to wander round at our leisure.if that is what you are looking for then I thoroughly recommend this trip
Thank you for the 5* review. This experience allows for a relaxed half-day with all the elements of sightseeing, good food, beach, hike, and views all aligned. We appreciate being recommended.
Excellent experience and very knowledgeable guide Steve. Steve picked us up and gave us a tour of Rodney Bay before taking us to Pigeon Island. He gave us lots of history facts and amazing tips regarding where to go and where to eat. Very friendly guy who made our experience even better. Also the lunch with the tour was great.
allyJ, I gots to say "we enjoyed hosting you". I love that you hiked, swam, and strolled (truly making full use of the park) and had a tasty beach lunch—cheers to Vacation, which continues to unfold with enrichment.
Our tour guide, Steven, was great!! He was on time, polite and very friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the island. He made being stuck in traffic fun with his stories. Would highly recommend.
