A relaxed stroll through the ancient palace

Toni the guide made this a very memorable experience. It took us roughly two hours to walk through the Diocletian's palace, in a very comfortable pace. In particular I enjoyed how he established historical and social context around the present state of the palace. It wasn't crowded and there was time for everyone to ask any questions they wanted. Also Toni gave us great tips on what else to see while in Split so I recommend this to anyone trying to get the most out of visiting Split.

Informative and well presented tour

The tour guide was very precise and informative, presenting the city’s history in a way that gives you a clear picture of both ancient times and the more recent past. I liked how the tour brought to life not only the buildings, but also the people, cultures, and way of life that shaped the city.

This tour was excellent. I highly recommend it when you visit Split. The tour was thorough, interesting, mostly discussed historic Split, and touched on what has happened in the past 10-15 years. Our 11 & 13 year old kids also enjoyed the tour.

One of the best walking tours: totally immersive, full of information, brought Split to life.

Fantastic tour with Toni, can only recommend - one of the best walking tours we've done. Toni is a great guide, full of knowledge and passion. We learnt so much about Split's past and present, also in the broader context of Croatia / surrounding Europe, that really brought the city to life as we walked through and made it mean so much more. We would have missed out hugely by not doing this! Also the flexibility in shifting our tour a week later, following a flight cancellation, was much appreciated!
