Deborah was very knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent tour. Would happily do it again! It was a great change from all the guided tours of landmarks, and a great way to experience the local culture.
Maja was an unbelievably fantastic guide with knowledge in abundance. She told us that it was a new tour, which could be why the cost compared to the amount of food was such incredibly amazing value. I attended with a friend & can wholeheartedly recommend this activity for not only the endless tasting experience, but also the fabulous hosting along with the food/town history. In fact, it was so good that if I’m in Split in the future, I’d do this again. Thank you so much Maja for putting up with the cheeky chap in the group! Puno vam hvala, Thank you so much, Muchas gracias.
Friendly, engaged, delightful guide. Knowledgeable and connected to the community.
A lovely evening visiting 2 restaurants and 2 bakeries. Lovely to try traditional local food and visit places we had not seen. Plenty of food and a great group of 8. Local wines a treat.
This was a wonderful food tour covering a lot of the unique foods from the area. We visited several restaurants and stores sampling foods and wines from Croatia. What a wonderful way to experience local culture and cuisine. Top notch! Thanks Debora
Very personable guide. Food was wonderful. Needed coffee with the cookie at the end. The pita with the sausage was the favorite by consenses
The tour exceeded our expectations. Ivna was a fantastic guide! At our request she added more historical context. The food on the tour was excellent-starting with dessert pastries and stuffed burek. We sat and ate the pastries in a beautiful park behind Diocletian's palace where Ivna explained in a very understandable way the centuries long history of this area. And that was just the beginning! The green market was overflowing with fruits and vegetables. Lunch was at Fife-cuddlefish risotto, roasted veggies with sausages, chard with potatoes, pasticada with gnocchi. All delicious! We took home more food to enjoy later. Our final stop was at Aura, a family distillery. Before entering the shop Ivna explained the process of making the liqueurs. The base is rakija. We were offered many tastings. The sage liqueur was good for colds. The lemoncello, orancello and charcoal filtered gin were also very good. The three+ hours spent with Ivna was the highlight of our vacation-highly recommended.
Ivana was great. She recommended good places to try besides the places she took us during the tour. She shared a lot about the local life, which we wanted to learn more.
The food tour was a combination of Dalmatian food, liquor and local history. Maya was very knowledgeable.
Wonderful, informative tour with delicious food! Debora, our tour guide, was wonderful! I highly recommend the tour and Debora.
